Can live without it – Bought this fridge new, with 5 year extended warranty, in that period it was "Fixed" three times, same problem. Fixed a forth time, out of warranty and pocket, fixed a fifth (and final) time by me, still same problem (faulty defrost thermostat), been running over a month now, no problems, see how it goes this summer, if not, out it will go. Badly designed working, cheap components

Excellent – We bought the stainless still version of this fridge about 5 years ago. We've never had a problem with it. Warranty period was short, however we never needed it. Front surface always looks great, and the unit runs very quietly. Plenty of space for a couple, or small family. Frost free works perfectly well, as we have never had to defrost the freezer. Being a fairly compact unit, it doesn't use a lot of energy, so the bills are low. Will definitely buy whirlpool again. Energy efficient, stainless steel good looks, frost free, compact unit. Short warranty period, however have not required.

OK – My overall is that its a great size for a couple who are just starting out (etc like myself and my partner), the cooling system is exellent for those hot summer days just be sure you dont turn it up too high as it does tend freeze things, you have to find the right temperature, the frezzer is great because it has one of those ice cube trays and a little tub thing to turn the ice-cubes into, only thing about the freezer is yet again size, it small probly not best for big families. Would look great in stainless steel! The good things about this fridge is it's affordable, the cooling system is great, its great in summer! Too small for families, probly best for 1 to 3 people.

Good – This is the best fridge we have ever owned. Really is completely frost free under the very trying conditions in the far north summer. Its also sleek enough to fit into any kitchen, and even though its not really big it's door spaces are very compact. Great fridge for the tropics, doesn't matter how humid it gets it still works with one hundred per cent efficiency. Not a whole lot of room but ideal for us now that the children have left home. We did need a second fridge when they were still here.

OK – Suited for the smaller families, It's got a great warranty, It suits my small family, I know a few friends who owns whirlpools and love them It's great how the freezer does not over freeze and easy Vegies stay fresh in teh crisper, it's great. Have not found any so far.
