carrying my mesuring tape around and measured all of the width of fridge shelves as I wanted the fridge shelves are wider not deeper. This fridge was wider fridge shelves than any other same capasity side-by-side. Also love 3 drawers in the frige as I have a lot of small stuff to put it in!!

LOVE ICE MAKER AND WATER!!!

Only down side of this frige is the size of inside drawers are little small compare to the other brand like Westing house side-by-side, but I can live with it.

I actually never wrote a review before (so this is my first review in my life :D) but I thought I should give my happy review as a complament to the company Whirlpool. You did a great job!!

Really like this fridge – I really like this fridge. it looks great and is very quiet. Unfortunately mine is wired wrong and I had no lights in the fridge section or the freezer. The service tech managed to fix the fridge side lights but the freezer ones will not work from new. fridge and it looks great in the kitchen so I am happy to wait for a replacement when more stock arrives. I didn't want an ice make but I have to say I like the water filter and ice maker and it has been put to good use The look, quiet operation, colour. Ice make and water cooler. Freezer is supposed to be bigger than my last whirlpool however due to the ice maker it is not as easy to stock and I had to throw items away when I changed over. I really miss the extra shelves in the freezer door that are lost to make way for the icemaker. One of the drawers in the freezer is really small and doesnt fit much in. The colour does attract a lot of dust but wipes over easy enough and seems rather fingerprint resistant

Great convenience – We purchased this fridge with the icemaker about 2 months ago. We have been very happy so far. The convenience of having ice (cubed or crushed) and water is wonderful. ice cubes in, so no big worry. I enjoy the side by side fridge/freezer, plenty of space in the fridge, makes me keep it a bit more organised than normal (5 people in our house). Noise is not an issue, it is in a separate kitchen, it does make noises but worth it for the ice at anytime! Overall glad I purchased it. So far so good. The ice maker and water without opening the fridge, or filling up containers. Crushed ice can get messy on floor, but that's a 1st world problem. Limited space in freezer, water not so cold

Do not buy whirlpool – Do not purchase whirpool,no customer service or warranty repairs 3 months old not cooling no fridge for 1 week still waiting for service agent to attend Whirpool service centre in phillipines keep saying call the service agent ,is that my job ?? I only purchased the unit , i do not work for whirlpool,good luck with warranty if you purchase a holden or ford when they stop production. Extremely disgusting warranty service,it does not exist

Doesn't make ice now the fridge is freezing – Ice maker stopped making ice within 3 months and we reported it in Nov. This has never been fixed and now the fridge is freezing everything solid. The whirlpool support lines are in the Phillipines and we keep going round and round in their scripts. issue resolved. Whirlpool must have the worst warranty support I have ever encountered, sadly I am disgusted and disappointed I bought their product.

There are no complaint numbers, you can't escalate and the local contracted repairer is rude and unreliable It looks good Ice making stopped working within 3 months, Fridge is now freezing, no support

A total waste of space and money – We bought this fridge because we wanted a water and ice fridge and the dimensions were perfect for our fridge space. and the whole canister where the ice motor is had frozen over. Whirlpool directed the technician to order a new ice motor without even investigating the leak. I argued with Whirlpool and refused to allow any parts to be replaced until they dealt with the leak. We are now 9 months on from then, and I still have an inoperable fridge. Might I say I am not happy, after being told today that it would be September 2012 before my replacement would be in Australia and there was no guarantee of this date either. Whirlpool have attempted to deliver 2 brand new replacement fridges and both of them had dented doors. So I guess they don't practice quality control either. I have also recently found out there are customers all over Australia with the same issue, waiting for a replacement. So please if you are considering buying a Whirlpool forget about it!! Bad product and equally bad customer service!
