Poor service

1 out of 5, reviewed on Dec 26, 2015

I purchased 3 items on 3rd December for Christmas and they were dispatched on the 7th. However after calling them several times I got no response and they did not turn up before Christmas. Very poor customer service will not purchase again. No one picks up the phone or calls back.

Perfect if hand washed!

4 out of 5, reviewed on Dec 12, 2015

I have silk/cotton, cashmere and merino sweaters in many colours and styles.
They must be hand washed to maintain any lustre.
Machine washing even with a gentle cycle with wool mix is too much and destroys the softness and look.
Brilliant array of colours and styles and I think they're worth the effort to hand wash as they are quite low priced.

Very disappointing freight system

1 out of 5, reviewed on Jul 21, 2015

I placed an order for two items over three weeks ago. I am still waiting for them to arrive.
When I questioned the whereabouts I was told that there is no tracking available. I find this very poor and disappointing as it is an international freight. I am told to wait another 10 days before failure to receive will be accepted and money refunded.
Very disappointing. Surely shipping with tracking is essential.

Overall satisfied.

Managed to catch their summer sale (as I'm in the southern hemisphere) and decided to test them at their bargain prices. I ordered two v-necks: a woollen Navy and a cotton Mocha.

The first thing I can say is that it was delivered to the other side of the world within a week, which is excellent. I've had to wait a month for items purchased from the UK before.

As for the products; their sizing seems a bit generous, with the XL sizing looking a bit bigger than XXL for most clothing. I'm very pleased with the wool Jersey, the wool quality loo
ks pretty good and the Navy colour is perfect. Not so happy with the cotton jersey, the cotton itself looks a bit below average in quality and the colour's a little lighter than the picture on the website. Being a bit too big for me it looks a bit silly and hanging.

Still, I can't complain too much for the price I paid and the delivery time. Overall I've found them pretty good and I will probably buy wool jerseys and other woollen products from them again.

Superb quality and service

I used to shop for jumpers/cardigans @ Landsend, but these from Woolovers are far superior/quick efficient service & such beautiful quality, we love them!
Do not bother to buy knitwear from anywhere else to avoid diassapointment. We live in Australia & still have cold winters, amazed @ how wonderful they are

Quality fits the price

2 out of 5, reviewed on Jun 03, 2015

I bought 5 wool jumpers in order to have free shipping as one of my friend is quite happy with her purchases. They do not fit me well especially unisex XS size is quite big but I would not bother to return them so I will just give some away and wear some at home. I may buy some silk cotton top as I saw my friend having one top which looks ok. But no more wool jumpers for me from this site.

Great products, great prices, slow delivery

4 out of 5, reviewed on Jun 03, 2015

I bought 4 jumpers of differing material, lambs wool, merino, cashmere. Quality is beautiful and the prices are very competitive. The designs are also excellent.

Shipping took a while 3-4 weeks instead of 10 days. Apart from that great company - will be buying from them again.

Word of advice for ladies buying unisex garments - size down!

Mediocre quality, size not expected, misleading information

2 out of 5, reviewed on Apr 20, 2015

I ordered 2 jumpers and 1 cashmere merino scarf and just received yesterday which is exactly 9 days from the day I placed the order and 7 days from the despatch email which is on time. The experience on the website is good and the online supporters were helpful.

Enough about the service, I will talk about the quality. The unisex one is gigantic though I ordered the smallest size (XS). The colors are rich and beautiful, the quality of the garments is just normal but the jumpers are super rough and scratchy even when I wear and lightweight cot
ton Tee underneath. The scarf is lightweight and soft but nothing else special. Besides, they don't offer the warmth I expected though those are heavy-knitted. I mean around 55 AUD for a jumper like this is just okay, not a special good deal but it will be costly if you include the shipping fee and returning fee.

Another thing is the webpage seems to offer us higher expectation. Especially, they seems to make us believe that those jumpers are made in Britain but I can't find any information where they were made and the quality of the garment lead me to the question if they are truly lambwool / british lamb wool / cashmere merino and if they were made in china.

For those reasons, I'm not gonna be a keeper. Luckily, I wasn't charged for the shipping fee so the returning fee is quite a reasonable price for this experience.

Questions & Answers

How long would they be delivered to Canberra, Australia?

Lin asked on Nov 16, 2015

Answer this

I really don't know as I don't live in the ACT, but if I remember correctly delivery took about 3 weeks.

Thank you!

Is the sizing accurate? I'm usually a 14, which equates to a L here in Australia. A little nervous about ordering a medium as their site would suggest. Particularly given wool tends to shrink ...

Jolpt asked on Jun 19, 2015

Answer this

I ordered 1 female jumper and 1 unisex jumper. The female one was fine but the unisex was super huge even though I ordered xs ( i usually wear Au 8).

Hi Jolpt, I agree with April, the unisex sizing is huge so go 1 or 2 sizes down, but the ladies sizing is pretty accurate. I'm from England originally and UK sizing does tend to be one size smaller than Australia. So i normally buy a size 10 UK but have to buy a Aus 12 here. I haven't washed my jumpers yet but the washing instructions seem pretty modern - 40 degrees so fingers crossed for minimal shrinkage...

Just be aware it does take a while for the clothes to get here - took 3-4 weeks for my order.

Hi. All the styles are different - but they do provide accurate measurements for every style. I make sure I always check those first.

Are their products made in Australia?

Lucia asked on Aug 15, 2013

Answer this

Hi Lucia,
I'm sure the garments aren't made in Australia because of the prices. I looked on the lables of one of my jumpers and it does not say where they are made. I assumed they were made in England because they are just so beautifully made and in all respects...perfect. Hope this helps.

Thank you!
