I returned 2 jackets which were delivered to wollovers 5 weeks ago. I’ve rung twice and was told I’d receive a refund in the next week- didn’t happen. Ive emailed twice with no response and still haven’t received my refund. Very poor show. I’m expecting a refund of $250 but wonder if I’ll ever get it? Show details
Terrible Customer Service I range WoolOvers and explained that the expensive white jumpers had been shrinking a lot after washing twice. and despite best wool detergent and hand-washing. I was told in robot-like repetition, that I MUST wash them in a washing machine (30 degrees) and spin not higher than 800. And it must not be washed by hand… Read more
but only according to instruction on the label.
I told him that I use tepid water and washed by hand, which is regarding wool the best approach. He got very annoyed and unfriendly and just repetitive. No more WoolOvers in my life.
Although the designs look nice online, I honestly think the quality doesn't reflect the prices. I made an order recently and returned after 2 days. It's been 3 weeks since I've waited for a refund. According to Australia Post, the parcel has been sitting at the post office. There were several emails to inquire where my refund is and have been met… Read more
with nothing but excuses without a resolution. It's funny that they state they have a 'no quibble returns policy'.

Very expensive product but poor quality. Wore a zip up hoodie and within an hour the pockets were falling apart from the inside. Show details
Very Disappointed – Poor Quality and No Customer Support I was really disappointed with my recent purchase from WoolOvers. Just two days after the cardigan arrived, I noticed a noticeable fray in the fabric — extremely disheartening for what’s supposed to be a quality item. I contacted customer service several times to try and find a resolution,… Read more
but received no response at all. Not even an acknowledgment. It’s unacceptable to be ignored, especially when the issue is clearly a fault with the product so soon after delivery.
This experience has completely put me off shopping with WoolOvers again. If you’re expecting good quality and reliable customer service, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Bought a zip up cardigan based on the sizing of two that I already have, the photo of the product was an S and looked snug on the model, but the one they sent me was a full 1-2 sizes bigger than ones I bought before, so that the sleeves are baggy and loose around the cuffs and the whole thing just hangs. So size S is more like a M-L. Silly me to… Read more
assume that the new size S would be the same as the old size S.
I sent them a photo of the old cardigan overlaid with the new one to show the difference in size even though they are both size S (posted here).
When I contacted so-called 'customer service' (took three messages and a week for them to get back to me) they told me they'd 'changed their sizing' and refused to provide a return label. Which is a load of hogwash since I ordered another different style in S at the same time and it's the same sizing as the others that I have (I always order the same 2-3 styles same size, in different colours) and fits just fine. So I have around 8 Woolovers jumpers/cardigans in size S that are ALL THE SAME and yet somehow this one is massive, whose fault would that be?
It's a shame that your reputation, honesty and keeping a loyal customer is not worth $15 postage to you. It says a lot about your company that you can't take responsibility for your dreadful manufacturing.
Terrible customer service and even though I've been a customer for several years, I will not be buying from them again. Buyer beware.
My experience was good for the garments I purchased – I ordered some cotton jerseys from this company and was very worried after I read the reviews here. My order was promptly delivered and I must say the garments were all well made including the finishing on the inside of the garments. I did note they all arrived in their individual plastic bags and had a strong chemical odor once removed from their… Read more
bags. I intend to wash them and line dry before wearing. The price point was what I expected for each garment at around $105 each. I tried the garments on and the fit was good. As I did not need to return any items I cannot comment on how easy it is to return goods and get a refund. I purposely did not order any woollen garments because the price point seemed too cheap for a good quality woollen jumper.
Non-existant service – Elbow patches on my new jumper have stained my couch. Emails were ignored until I rang up, when they refused to admit receiving them. Despite me getting auto-response emails. Sent another email and rang back. Finally admitted getting them. 'Someone will get back to me'. A week later... tumbleweeds. The auto response emails that say they'll respond within 48 hours? They are a lie. The jumper seems ok.

Very similar story - tried to replace an Order that was the wrong size. No response to emails sent, then non-helpful person on the telephone. The company policy seems to be against assisting with any exchanges or refunds. Hard to see why WoolOvers will last long as an online business. Just lost a customer forever. Show details

Ordered a jumper size small by phone, 4 weeks ago. Later that day I changed order to medium. First order was cancelled and new order number issued. Jumper never arrived. Just off the phone with the rudest and extremely aggressive man, who said the second order number was in a different name, not mine. He refused to admit that someone at Woolovers… Read more
had made a mistake. Funny how I had correct order number isn't it? He called me aggressive when I was struggling to make him see the problem was at their end, not mine. He disconnected our call mid sentence. What wonderful service Woolovers! Margarita H Naik
I’ve bought from Oz wool overs many times but recently I tried to purchase and the payment paid just kept flicking back so I’m wondering if they’ve shut down. Tried on several devices but no joy

Sadly I have found quality Marino 90% / 10% cashmere fluffs and balls. It shrinks with washing carefully. This did not happen when I first started purchasing from this company in previous years. Show details
Upon sending my frayed and oversized items for return I was told that they never received the items and refused my refund. These people are liars and running a scam Show details
Absolutely appalling customer service. I have been totally letdown and disregarded. Zero stars is my review experience. Despite spending well over $1,000 with Woolovers over the last year or so, I was overcharged, but after complaining received absolutely no email communication in return. I must've spent well over three hours in total on the phone… Read more
from Australia trying to explain the situation - the South African customer service agents simply did not want to know about my situation and were extremely rude. On numerous occasions several UK customer service agents promised me an email return from a manager explaining the situation, but guess what… I received No email. Eventually in desperation I directly emailed a senior manager and additionally the CEO of Woolovers, but received no reply. Disgraceful. This is typical of a company that is only interested in its bottom line, and does not give a damn about any of the customers that support them. So even though eventually I received a refund for the overcharge by Woolovers there was no explanation as to why this overcharge had happened, let alone an apology. And despite my asking - also no email assurance that an overcharge would not happen with any future order. Not surprisingly, I'm not interested in ever ordering from Woolovers again. Get real and get your act together Woolovers.
Disappointing and annoying – Cashmere Merino Classic V Neck Cardigan Nice colour, soft feel. Fit was a little looser than expected. Quality of wool was very poor. Pilled excessively after a short time. Seams were poorly aligned and started separating. Cheaply manufactured and would not recommend company. Received snail mail and email spam which took effort to stop.
Disgraceful product and customer service – Bought a top a year before from WoolOvers USA and then bought top a couple of months ago from the Australian outlet. It was crap design, crap colour and I had to phone up to find out where my refund was. The guy on Customer service was a rude an arrogant sub continental DH and should be sacked. Always buy from the UK or USA stores. It’s true. In… Read more
Australia we get all the crap and that’s why I almost purchase everything from bored using UK and US Postal services private boxes if they won’t ship to Australia. EBay are just as bad.
Pulled the wool over my eyes – Should be no stars. I should have read the reviews of this pack of #$%& before buying what turned out to be poor quality JUNK. Reported faults, with pictures of the defects on both items to "customer service" who replied with a monumental brush off. All I can say is AVOID THIS COMPANY OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE DEALER WHERE YOU CAN CHECK THE QUALITY BEFORE PARTING WITH YOUR CASH. Show details
Very poor customer service – I purchased a cardigan in size medium from Woolovers in Australia that showed it was in stock on their website (in fact it's still available for purchase on their website right now!) because I needed it for an interstate trip. I waited, checking the mail each day, but nothing arrived. I suddenly received an email saying I'd been refunded but with… Read more
zero explanation about why. I emailed their 'customer lack-of-service' & I'm still waiting for a response. Very bad customer service.

Poor quality items – I like the look of many WoolOvers garments, but after buying a number of cardigans and loungewear, I have to say I am disappointed with the way the garments have pilled given the cost. I expected better quality, durability and multi-seasonal wear. I have no complaint with the customer service or delivery. Show details
Stay away scammers – Stay away. I ordered 3 jumpers and was charged 4 times. Have called, emailed a number of times. Still waiting for 3 refunds. Quality of jumpers not the best but afraid to return Show details
Disappointing quality, poor customer service – I have bought Woolovers jumpers for years so I know my size. My recent purchase of the same jumper was 7cm shorter. I was advised to return it and my postage both ways would be refunded. After over 2 weeks the jumper cost was refunded but no postage which amounted to $18.85. When I rang I was told that the postage would be refunded but no apology… Read more

Wife meets a farmer – Had a problem with a refund of monies. Take a photo of all documents and track number Aust Post number. Otherwise, good quality in materials used. highly recommend WoolOvers, just wish they did tailored shoulders, not drop sleeve. Looks sloppy/casual/weekend. If they did tailored could wear to work in an office atmosphere. Fabulous, enticing brochure free. I actually own 8 jumpers for lazy days and weekends.
Terrible – Purchased a Aran knitted jumper ..it’s appalling the ‘wool’ is like a coarse hessian and is undersized. Can’t wear it it’s too uncomfortable. Won’t be back again..you take a risk dealing with this mob. Show details

Terrible Service and True Ripoff – Bought and paid for my Christmas gifts from this Company on 27/10. They did not ship until 7/12. their service over the week. They do not tell me what they did and the order tracking has disappeared and there is no refund or credit eMail. What a sham and terrible service.
Refunds – I would never ever purchase anything from tis company Worst customer service returned a cardigan and it took from 9th October until 15th December to get refund after about 10 emails
Terrible Customer Service – Purchased a lambswool cardigan. It had a hole in it when I received it. Called Woolovers, and was advised to return it, and postage was refunded immediately. don’t process physical returns from Australia. And a photo would have been sufficient. I was also told they had no proof of my return postage costs. So I emailed photos of the faulty cardigan, a photo of the receipt, with tracking, for return postage, plus a screenshot of the Australia Post tracking app. I received an email stating a full refund for both the cardigan and return postage had been initiated. Eight days, and numerous phone calls later, I received a refund for the cardigan only. Will not purchase another thing from Woolovers. It was a nightmare dealing with them.
Totally unacceptable – Took them over a month to tell me that they couldn't fill my order. I was grateful for the full refund but would have appreciated the advice that they didn't have the stock a little sooner. Completely unacceptable and poor customer service!
Coat coming apart from gentle wear, no refunds – Got a blue boiled wool coat valued at over AUD$200 (and purchased for almost that much on sale). Nice enough coat at first but from less than 100 days of gentle use a buckle has come off and the lining is fraying near the arms. The company website declares a stance against 'fast fashion' and says "fashion shouldn't cost the Earth", so I really… Read more
wasn't expecting the coat to wear out so easily. I checked the ACCC guidelines and still believe based on them that a remedy from the company is in order even though it has been over 12 months since purchase, the price and the fact the coat has been worn carefully for low-strain activities on less than a hundred days means a "reasonable consumer" (per the guidelines) would expect the coat to be intact. It initially sounded like I might be offered a replacement (not my preference for the environment's sake, I'd indicated I'd prefer a refund of as little as half the price), but when they realised the purchase was more than 6 months ago (against their personal policy to remedy beyond that point, despite that this clashes with the ACCC), they backed out.
