Used to be good. Some brain-damaged idiot on the website decided to change the measurements of the frames. Now is just almost impossible to choose the correct size of the frame and it looks like no help available on the website.

Great Service – I've bought about four pairs of prescription glasses over the years from Zenni. The problem in Australia is that generally you go to an Optometrist for the testing and prescribing. I doubt I will get the local ones before Christmas. The Zenni ones were ordered a day later than the local ones on 11 December. The Zenni ones were delivered today using only normal postage. The Zenni ones are photochromatic where the Australian ones are plain. A bit better than half the cost of the Australian ones and that cost includes postage. Frames and prescription are perfect. Again extremely satisfied.

Consistently above par – My partner and I have been ordering our Progressive (No-Line Multi-Focal) glasses from Zenni for the last 11 years. In that time we had just one issue and they ultimately offered to replace the entire set of glasses. We are so happy we have referred numerous friends to the site and have never had negative feedback. If I was to have one criticism it would be that the range of frames is almost too large. obviously have to send back. So, I question everything about the process in how the lenses are produced, and the quality inspection process to ensure the prescription is correct and matches what I provided prior to them being shipped. Upon communicating with someone regarding my issue, on several occasions my words were changed making it sound as though I had a vision issue or problem, when clearly my prescription lenses were incorrectly manufactured. The company was also unwilling to include the shipping charges I incurred with my pending refund. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING experience overall. How can you call yourself an optical company when you cannot produce correct prescription lenses????

peripheral vision, mid range in centre is so close to close up reading its useless. Product service was ok but was never informed I could return within 14 days for refund. These would have been returned in a heart beat if I was told. They declined refund as I only found out about returns after 3 weeks. swimming! It takes a little time on the app measuring and virtual trying on, but it's quite fun, and once it's done, you may only need to tweak your changes. I paid heaps less than I would've in Australia, and am very happy with the quality. Definitely highly recommend giving Zenni a try.

Beware of Warranty – While my initial product was good, I had purchase rimless glasses with all bells and whistles, I didn't realise that the warranty for the frame was only 1 month so when they fell apart after a couple of months I was left with a pair $400.00 dollar glasses I couldn't wear.

Useless customer service after supplying wrong glasses – After waiting 3 weeks, my supposedly multi-vision pair of glasses arrived - as reading glasses only with very close focus. A chat with a Zenni representative was an exercise in bureaucratic frustration. Worse, they kept telling me the faulty glasses probably were multivision and that I just didn’t know how to use them…!! (I have been wearing them for years!). Ok, mistakes happen, but how about just replacing them as fast as possible, rather than drowning the customer in “policy” and excuses? Never again, Zenni.

strong. I purposefully tried to shake them off and they stayed put. I have bought from other websites and not been impressed by other company’s cheap made glasses. But the quality of Zenni’s glasses are always top tier every time I order from them!!

Easy prescription sunglasses – I needed some prescription sunglasses but was not about to pay the ridiculous prices at the local vision store - even with insurance. I found Zenni to be easy and inexpensive. The sunglasses fit perfectly and I would definitely order again.

with choosing but you do need to take the time to check and ensure you are ordering appropriately sized frames etc... Great prices too and we have been happy with the quality so far.

3rd Order did not arrive and we were asked to wait / be patient due to covid but in the end Zenni accepted they must be lost / not coming and so offered a full refund or to remake and resend. We chose the refund which was applied quickly.

Zenni also offered a 15% discount on our next order and gave us a code to use next time we ordered. This discount was offered because we had waited so long and in the end had not received our order. So in our view this discount was a discount offered just to us, because of a specific situation as a way of thanking us for our patience or apologizing for the failed order - you get the drift !

We recently put through a 4th order after cyber monday but the Zenni website was still offering a 25% "Cybermonday" discount which we applied. The website only allows one discount code to be applied so we wrote in the comments with the order and requested that the 15% "apology" discount also be applied to the order.

Zenni has steadfastly refused to apply the 15% discount on top of the Cybermonday discount and technically they are probably correct, their terms and conditions on their website and the Cybermonday discount state that only one discount code can be used per order.

However, as we have pointed out to Zenni quite clearly, we understood the 15% discount offered after our failed last order to be an apology (or thankyou) not a promotion or general discount.

This refusal hasn't stopped us from placing the 4th order but does leave a bad taste in our mouths so to speak in dealing with this business. Its certainly not the way I have conducted my own business dealings and don't personally see it as a positive way of doing business.

The important distinction here to me is that the 15% discount was not a "general" "promotional" discount but a specific offer to us to be able to be applied to our next order due to specific circumstances that occurred with our previous order. Whether we apply the 15% now with the cybermonday discount or next time on its own should make no difference to Zenni's bottom line (or our's) so it seems a poor reflection on the business (in my opinion) to be refusing to apply it with this order.

But you may think differently !

Outstanding – The site is easy to navigate, the selection is vast, if you know your prescription it's super simple. I bought some progressive vision glasses for myself and some bifocals for my partner, they were spot on, and the quality is outstanding. The glasses I bought were a little too small for my face (my own fault) but the return and swap was painless. One of the best companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Show details

Glasses fine but website doesn't work – Their glasses are fine but about a month ago their website become unfunctional: on logging in it just spins its wheels and its greyed out. Did all the usual stuff (cleared cache, different browser, device etc). I contacted them many times but they haven't fixed it. No more Zenni glasses for me: I can't order them.

little expensive for Australia, not many options on glasses for sport activities (Eg. Cycling, running etc).

The Verdict is Zenni Optical is a very good company to buy affordable glasses. They could improve on frames for sporting activities, there's an under market for that, Zenni has the resources to do that. There glasses maybe Made in China, but at least the quality is better than more expensive brands.

My Advice is when ordering glasses is enter your prescription correctly including the PD, measure your old frames by hand that perfectly fit you, then order glasses at a similar size. Also with the lenses options is if you want AR coating, add on the water repellent option too, trust me it's a live saver, your lenses will clean easier and last longer.

the lens (tight lens fitting?). Email to Zenni was replied to promptly with an apology that nothing could be done beyond the 30 day warranty. I did not bend or force the frame, which generally sits, as a spare, on my bookshelf.

Pluses: Value for money, especially with a cheaper lens; prompt customer service Negatives: Some frames are not durable, and where issues arise remedies are not offered except within stated time period. Further Zenni Support does not recognise Australian Consumer Gaurantees (though I gather it is obliged to). Not worth it especially with higher value prescriptions.

What would I do without you? – I have been buying glasses from Zenni for the past 11 years. I can honestly say I have never had a problem. Always fitted perfectly and a truly great range to choose from. I have never waited more than 14 days for them to arrive in Australia. I have looked at glasses here in Oz starting price $250.00. Thank you

Worst ever. Did not deliver even after a month and a half – Delivery not carried out and told me that it's with Hong Kong post or Australia post. Such a waste of my time
