Dodgy Brothers repairers, terrible assesor – After a burglary a few years ago, we had the misfortune to have to claim with AAMI. What a debacle! The assessor appeared to listen to our woes, then chose a husband and wife "handyman" team- like a Jim's handyman franchise!!! The cheapest option for them. Our beautiful french doors made of cedar they repaired with cheap pine, made errors with the locks that they just bogged. They used warped timbers on our back doors and caused much more stress than the actual burglary. My camera had been stolen and ended up with a way inferior model that takes lame images thru JB Hifi. Arm yourself with insurance law info, and stand your ground. Will never deal with AAMI again. Shonks. Seems a good deal until you claim. Inferior repairs, inferior assessor.
