Awesome coffee and at a bargain price!! – Went to ALDI when these machines were first on sale, people were piling out in their droves with shopping trolleys full of them, i was worried there would be none left. We manage to buy two coffee makers and two frothers that day - one per person.
The display counter where you could choose a sample of the coffee was good and very entertaining as the girl didn't know how much milk to put in the frother and it was going everywhere.
It is so quick and easy to operate, every one in the house can use it and clean up, is a sinch.
I get the number 10 pods every time from Aldi for a strong coffee and only minutes to prepare, the milk takes around two minutes to froth and the finished product can definitely live up to the standards of a barista made coffee you get in the shops and at a tenth of the price. Awesome quality, design and space saving as well. Inexpensive, easy to use and reliable
Aldi coffee is good for a machine that is quick and convenient but I am curious to know too if any other coffee pods fits this machine. My new machine does not make very hot coffee compared to my local cafe. I will persevere with it if I can find a better coffee brand. I have been looking for info on the net about the BPA in the plastic pods. Is anyone else concerned about consuming BPA in their coffee and has anyone know if Aldi or Map use it.
Pods from Officeworks work in the ALDI EXPRESSI machine... rumour has it that the pods able to be purchased at Target also work...
