A very good Dish Washer – About 2 months ago we had several call outs on another brand we'd had for 8 or so years - generally we were happy with that brand but in looking for a new dish washer the Asko D543SS was recommended. I believe this is the top of the range model and we liked several features such as the movable cutlery basket, the pot scrubber and we loved the clean lines of the front. We are very happy with the performance - the cleaning and drying of items seems better than our last dish washer. It was said to be a quiet machine - generally yes, though in our situation in a couple moments of the cycle the water pressure (on/off) seems very loud - I think this has more to do with our plumbing? We love our new machine - when we returned home from a few days away it was nice to come home to such a smart looking machine (the machine while away was definitely noisier and hard to open door with out breaking nails). Washes and dries well, looks very smart! generally quiet running. Water pressure may make for a few noisy moments in cycle - but general Yes its a quiet machine

Recommend fitting a water hammer arrester, only takes 20 minutes and will save you future plumbing probs as well as making things quiet. These should be fitted to all dishwashers and washig machines which use solenoid valves.
