Fun and High Quality – Purchased an unwanted wedding gift. Lives up to the Breville name. Judging from other reviews, i seem to be lucky with the leaking and such... There is no greater joy then on a Sunday brewing up your own coffee instead of pressing a button (That can be worth $1000+ more). You control the flavour and IMHO you can not get a genuine coffee out of an auto machine. I will not comment how auto machines grind, tamper and filter their coffee as it gets technical... Most of it has to do with the frothing of the milk. Auto machines simply do not cut it. High Quality and Enjoyable to make coffee milk sticks to Steam Wand...???

Hi there, I am a professional barista. Milk will stick to the steam wand regardless of what model coffee machine you own. The best way to prevent this, is have a wet clean cloth handy and after each use, wipe down the steam wand. This should prevent build up for a few uses but from time to time, you will need to thoroughly clean it.
