This machine is the best – I have just taken our machine in for repair - 5 years and had no problems ever. Looked like a switch and happened to be a short in the boiler. Repair guy said that he sees one or two a decade and no idea why.

So I came to look for a replacement and after 5 years of perfect coffee will but another. Why dbills1951 can't get a good cup is beyond me. Mid range Woolies beans, perfect cup everytime. I drink espresso and spend my life in café's drinking average to rubbish coffees that can't hide behinf milk and froth and sugar.

Give me an 800 ES. More to the point I must have one so I can make my wife her coffee in the morning so she can start her day! Everything especially it's simplicity. Turn it on it goes. It does what it says on the tin. Nothing - I just need two for when guests come around
