OK – Several years ago this camera came out. It still does the job but there are better cameras now. After a few years it started to show problems with the CCD but Canon does offer repairs for that. The picture quality is good and the focusing does work well enough. Despite all the options that are with the camera, it envitably just becomes a point and click camera most of the time. It uses 4 AA batteries, and are easy to replace in an emergency. It has good weight to it, lots of options to choose from. Relatively quick to take photos, uses AA batteries There are better cameras out there now, can have CCD problems, pictures sometimes look a bit wwashed out
