Excellent – I am very pleased with my purchase after doing a couple months of research on the net in some of the Canon Forums I also looked at other cameras of around the same price range but their Cons were more numerous than the S3IS.

I have found that Lithium batteries give better service than the rechargeable type in this camera, Ok! Lithium are a little dearer but they do not "leak" whilst stored in the camera unlike the rechargeables. The best feature of this camera is the Video it is equal to dedicated digital video cameras in the $1600.00 range according to my friend who does digital video recording.
