Good – A great camera for snapping away with, but not quite small enough for the pocket! RAW mode a real plus for keen photographers.

Most of the above bad points relate to most Canon compact digitals and would need to be weighed up against the good points. Robust metal casing

Powerful RAW image mode

Excellent image quality

Included Lithium Ion battery and charger

Flash is poweful enough for most snaps

Exposure usually spot on Not very wide at 35mm

Slow to respond between photos

Autofocus in macro mode slow and inacurrate in low light

Camera case not included, Canon option too expensive but a nice fit for camera and 1 extra card

Slowish auto focus

Poor red eye reduction

Fiddly 4 way controller
