Good – One of the best point and shoot cameras on the market. If you decide to purchase a digital camera this year, you should seriously consider the Canon S95 as one of your top 3.

I would use this as a point and shoot as well as street photography. Or even a second backup camera.

Cameras I own and use Regularly: Canon 5D II, Pentax K7, Sony NEX 5, Canon G9, and now the Canon S95! Great image quality from a small sensor camera, high quality build quality.

Excellent low light capability

Flexibility to be a point and shoot camera, but also allows full manual control.

Light weight compared to my full frame DSLR Canon 5D II, or even my Sony NEX 5

Allows capture of RAW (digital negative) which allows greater flexibiity in post proessing. Front rotating ring can seem abit gimmicky.

Video is great but these days should offer full 1080p res, and not the 720.

Battery life may be limited as the big screen LCD display will no doubt be draining.
