Excellent – I am not an IT expert and usually need my husband's help with any new computer or computer accessory, so I was expecting to have to get DH to help me get my new MP3 player up and working. Imagine my delight, then, when I installed the software, copied my music across and got it working without needing any assistance! The screen is bright and clear, music is organised well and easy to access, radio has good reception (though it took a while for me to figure out how to get my stations onto it). My favourite feature is the ability to choose 'all tracks' (tracks arranged alphabetically) and listen to them in order - I prefer this to 'random' as I don't risk hearing the same track twice. I got the 8GB player, and so far have filled 6GB with almost 1000 songs. The only downside I've discovered with the player itself is the playtime - the makers claim it can run for up to 30 hrs - I assume that's when you actually don't do anything with the player! I usually get about 7 hours out of it - and that's with screen brightness reduced to 10%. The earphones supplied are also a disappointment - I think the right earphone wire has cracked near the plug as it often requires twiddling to send the sound through. But the player itself is fabulous! Highly recommend it! Size, weight, easy to set-up and use (drag and drop files from windows explorer is great feature) Supplied earphones already partially broken on right side, needs recharging after ~ 7 hours.
