Buy it! – I wanted a red kettle to replace my existing one which I was having to use a rock on the old kettle's lid to keep it down (as the mechanism was broken) and put up with it for at least 3 months whilst I searched for the one! (The Murphy Richards kettle just didn't do it for me by the way). The De'Longi Icona kettle fitted the bill with it's teapot/jug style, chrome lid & spout, sturdy handle, cordless, good size, it came in a beautiful red and the lid had no mechanism -so was one less thing that could wear out. I am 100% happy with this kettle and its quality (I have had mine for nearly 2yrs)and I really do enjoy using and seeing it in my kitchen! quality , style, design and colour more than what i wanted to spend but i don't regret it and would gladly buy another.
