Love the coffee but the frother is so annoying! – Great product the coffee is lovely and fast to make but as with everyone else problems with frother burnt spot from very early on. Nespresso says its my fault for not cleaning properly which is in my opinion wrong...I am considering ditching nespresso and going back to stove top espresso because of their failure to accept the frother problem. Coffee is yummy and fast. Frother is badly designed, hot spot that milk sticks to and eventually it stops heating the milk. Lousy!
I guess you must have scored a dud because I've had mine 6 months and the coffee is perfect each time. Perfect temp, perfect amount of froth.
My milk burnt in a spot from the very first use.... so i don't think its a cleaning issue/
We have had ours nearly 12months. We clean it thoroughly and it has a burn spot and you can't just buy a replacement frother.

The frother will only get a hot spot if your not cleaning it properly - all milk residue must be cleaned out each time you use it....I've had mine for 3 years and no hot spot
