it's ok - i expected better – I brought this vacuum as I wanted a top range vacuum. I want to have my dogs inside but as I hate dog hair, I purchased this vacuum hoping to resolve this issue. The vacuum can't pick up clearly visible hairs that have only slightly threaded through the carpet. Also it can't manage grass seeds slightly stuck in the carpet. I expected better because of the powerhead. A crack appeared after a few months in the plastic where the powerhead attaches to the hose and now a piece of plastic has fallen off. Also air is clearly escaping from the join on the hose to the pole. I'll be taking it for repair this week, maybe I got a dud. Certainly isn't the joy it claims it is. I think I'll go a miele next time. Shame I spent all that money. powerful machine, bags last ages, long pole and cord, I like how the head manouvers, controls on handle are handy heavy and bulky, expensive, power head noisy, not as sturdy as it appears, still doesn't pick up everything.
I would never buy another electrolux vacuum cleaner. In fact, if you offered me one for free, I would give you a resounding NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paid for top of the range, had it in the shop for more than two months with a myriad of issues. I have used the vac exactly as it states in the booklet. The worst of it was that when I complained about the vac, I was basically told by the electrolux people that there was nothing they could do. They actually said that they fixed the machine under warranty when they didn;'t have to because they tried to make out that I had done something wrong. when they said they would get back to me they didn't bother. The long and short is that I will never buy any product from electrolux again. I cringe when the ads come on the TV
If you gave me one for free, I would refuse - not worth spending any more time - put simply, I would never buy another electrolux product!!! Cringe when I see the ads come on the TV.
My vacuum has now stopped working and needs a new circuit board. Quoted $150 for the repair. This vacuum is an expensive mistake.

i also had one of these, found it hard to push on full power. the controls on the wand broke, then the controls on the barrel also broke, traded it under warranty for a miele.
