Great when new but don't last – When working they work great, suck well, quiet and look to be well built. After two years they develop random faults and with all the wiring to the control panel on the wand and power head I'm not surprised. Wand failed first inside warranty and was replaced. Then power head failed and I had to purchase a new one. Now power head cuts out all the time and the vacuum cleaner just turns itself off randomly. Also at points of connection plastic is cracking away.I'm off to buy a Dyson! Quiet, good suction Don't last so they are expensive based on number of reliable service years
$630 piece of junk. 1st one failed out of the box, not a good sign. Replacement one power head was repaired twice under warranty, 3rd time I just pulled the brush out and left it. Random cutting out has now started. Old unit in the shed still going strong, I will never by another electrolux item. "Quality" is no longer in the company's vocabulary.
I couldn't agree more. The control panel gone within 3 months and I have had two heads replaced. I have now given up on the stupid thing. Such a waste of money.
I agree. experience is the same.
Yes we have had the same faults , especially with the power head not working ..that has happened 3 times now ! Went to use it today now nothing ! Just flashing lights Grrr... I remember when Electrolux were the best vacuums ,and had door to door sales with great support and back up !
We have had exactly the same problem, our model is now 2 years old aswell. It appears to be a good model but if this is such a common problem at two years then how do Electrolux expect to get repeat business.

This review could have been written by me. It is exactly what I have experienced. The faults just keep happening. Eventually the warranty runs out and you just give up in exasperation. I have a forty year old Electrolux in my shed that just keeps on going. The new electroluxs aren't any where ner as good. Electrolux should be ashamed of themselves .
