Fantastic blender – After watching the Ninja sleek TV blender Ads, I nearly purchased one. But I realised that the Ninja jug had to be full before it could blend and there is need to use another 2 ninja jugs to blend smaller amounts - a small jug and a medium jug . In addition, I was not impressed with the plastic stem holding the blades .

After researching I bought the Optimum blender from Froothie which is a very solidly built machine with all blades and stem in stainless steel. The Optimum can blend any quantity of fruit/vegetable very efficiently in one jug and to date I have not used the blending stick .

I got rid/replaced my Sunbeam blender and my Breville Citrus juice extractor with the Optimum which blends 1 peeled orange magnificently by liquidising the pulp in 20 seconds leaving no mess to clean up (tip:throw in the jug a little ice, 1 peeled orange, 2 strawberries a slice of ginger a little honey a you get a glass of delicious real healthy drink).

Another very helpful control is the three timer switches which turn off the unit in 20sec, 30sec and 45 sec. no guessing on time required.

I use the Optimum daily and it has performed admirably . In my opinion the Optimum is definitively much superior blender to any other blender in the market including the Ninja .

The Froothie company is very supportive and have dealt with all my concerns promptly and without any fuss.

Ivan abilty to blend any quantity in same jug and the timer 20 sec 30 sec 45 sec cant fault it
