Optimum user review – I used my Vitamix for about 4 years back in the States, and I can say it is a great blender worth the $400-$500 paid. I used it almost daily, and have made everything including drinks, spreads and dips, nut butters, dressing and more. I’ve grown to love my blender
Having recently moved to Australia and unable to bring my Vitamix due to the voltage difference, my first item on the shopping list was another Vitamix. However the price tag was well above what the product is worth, almost doubling when comparing to the price on Amazon in the US. I was on a mission: Finding a blender which is at par in quality, performance and similar functionality
Having reviewed many brands, and also being flooded with TV ads for the Ninja (also overpriced!), I seem to be always redirected to the Australian brand Optimum. I reviewed all possible blogs and websites, and the feedback for Optimum, specifically the Optimum 9400, was very reassuring. Seeing the product came with a money back guarantee, I took the plunge and made the purchase
I have now used the blender for all the recipes I made with Vitamix. I am pleasantly surprised and unequivocally convinced the Optimum 9400 has the same result and build quality as the Vitamix. The longer blades were also very effective for grinding, and with the additional speed the job was done quicker than my Vitamix in some cases (note I never purchased the Vitamix dry jug which could have a similar result when grinding to the Optimum). Smoothies both had the same great texture, everything blended in seconds.
Well done Optimum for a great product, and thank you for the great customer service. Not sure if your product is selling in the US but I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family Great performance and durability, value for money No DVD, however many videos available on the distributor’s Youtube channel

Thank you for the detailed review Danny. While many videos are available online, we are working on a new DVD to be included with every blender along with the recipe book :-)
