I use the 9400 twice a day! – I use this blender for smoothies, soups, sauces and desserts, and am most impressed by the speed and power, as well as by how well it handles regular use. It's easy to clean, and, after six months, shows no signs of wear and tear. It's the only blender I've used that deals well with berry seeds, and completely blends tomato skin, ginger and other root vegetables (thick carrots and raw beets). If you can afford it (and it's so much cheaper than a Vitamix, with), I highly recommend the Optimum 9400.
