Billion BIPAC 5100 / W

OK – This is a great modem for the average household. Its reliability on the whole is very good. Its easy to set-up and simple to use. It sometimes overheats in very hot temperatures but generally its fine. It does however only support ADSL 1, so the technology is becoming old. The 4 network ports are very useful for connecting more than one computer, and it can double-up as a router. I would recommend this modem for a household that doesn't need a high intensity internet connection. reliable internet connection
nice design
4 computer lan ports
Handles high speed nicely Only ADSL 1
Sometimes disconnects
sometimes needs to be reset after extended and extreme use

Just in case anyone else reads this: I had one of these, and it completely broke when I tried to connect it to an ADSL2+ line. (I'd expected I'd be able to at least connect with an ADSL profile, but the whole modem permanently stopped working.)
