Seat cannot be turned in forward facing mode – We bought the seat because of the turn function but this function is not working ones you turn the seat facing forward (and your baby weights a bit more by this time). Pointless! Here is the answer I got from manufacturer when I complained: "The Turn a Tot function has only ever been available for use when the seat is in rear facing due to… Read more

Australia’s requirements regarding tether straps. The Turn a Tot feature when in rearward made does not require the adjustment of the tether strap in anyway as the tether strap will loosen automatically as the restraint is rotated and then tighten back to its original length and firmness when the restraint is turned back to its correct position.

The restraint can still be turned when in forward facing mode, but the tether would need to be loosened and tightened everytime, which we don’t recommend due to the high risk of misuse. Unfortunately there is currently nothing we can do regarding this due to the requirements under the Australian Standards."

Excellent – Awesome for comfort and ease of use. Looks great and has lots of support for the baby. Added safety so you can see if the harness is correct. Great for the back. Easy to use in 4wd or higher vehicles. No banging the baby or your arms lifting over a seat. Comfortable.

Good – It was the best car seat that anyone can buy. the price was the ame as all the others. the seat has very good supprt from babies and most of all it is good for mums that have had baby via c section no twisting or turning. i cant say anything bad about it it was and still is the best car seat on the market today I loves the way it turned when my… Read more

daughter was a baby. it made it so much easyer to get her out. my mother who has spinal injuries could get her out without hurting her back. it was recommened by the RCH (royal children hospital)(melb). would not say anything bad about it. People asked about it all the time. My daughter got too tall for it by the age of almost 2 but she loveds the turn a tot

Excellent – I reckon the turn a tot to everyone, I actually get asked by friends and so on about it. I am very happy with the money we spent on it. And would get another one if needed. Love this carseat, i have used it with all 3 chn, although i couldnt turn it when you have 3 carseats in the back all occopied with kidlets. Don't mind the reclining of it when… Read more

forward facing as the seats in my car are actually sloped, so that is why it does recline, and happy they i dont have to turn it around in forward facing as it is not suppose to. Also happy to be able to get my kids out of the car when forward facing makes it alot easier because of the room.

OK – I wouldnt say its the best car seat in the world, but i got it because of my C section and i didnt have to reach or fiddle with it, it turned around really easily for us and is easy to put baby in and take them out. This car seat was great for me for both my babies, as i had a C section with them. It turned around really easily and i felt great… Read more

knowing they were safe and comfortable. It was very easy to put in the car(well for my husband anyway).

You can also adjust the straps without too much hassle which also helps. Has great padding for babies when they are infants, but is alittle too much when they are bigger so we took it out.

My oldest son was a very tall boy and so the maximum height the straps go too was still to short so we had to get a different car seat at about 2 yrs old.

Is a very large car seat(which i did like)but isnt wonderful if you need to have room for other passengers in the back seat.

OK – realy good for a small infant but not worth the money as they get older a capsual and booster seat would work just as well been very happy with it but as baby becomes older less happy great for getting baby in and out easily sunshade is great for keeping sun out of eyes not the greatest forward facing doenst give you any features more than a… Read more

normal seat seatbelt has akward set positions and base doesnt fit all veichels properly leaving it to reclined fabric always leaves my son sweating and at 10 months he can undo the clip i think its not as great a standard as others

Good – ok for price paid, but purchased 2nd hand and had no previous experience of babies travelling. Definitely re-thinking options for next baby. Able to get baby in and out easily. Not sure about sun shade.

Bad – We bought this car seat for our son as it seemed like a great idea as I have back problems but I have never been able to get it to turn. It is also very difficult to install and adjust the length of straps so we have to pay $30 to have it done professionally every time. Straps come loose easily in rear facing mode. Child outgrows it much quicker… Read more

than other brands. It's not terrible but I wouldn't purchase one of these again. It is very comfortable for small babies. Turning feature never worked properly, very bulky and difficult to install. Sun shade is useless.

Bad – Considering the cost, this seat seems like an overpriced baby capsule. Children grow out of it very quickly and it is not comfortable forward facing. The harness/tether system is unnecessarily complicated and it is difficult to fit into the car properly. However, for those with back problems it can make putting bub in and out of the car much… Read more

easier. Able to turn to face the car door easily in Rearward Facing mode (but not easily forward facing). Can be very helpful for parents with back problems. The most difficult seat to fit correctly in most cars - the base is huge and bulky, and using the locking clip provided will still sometimes mean that the seat is not fitted tightly enough with the seat belt. Seat is shorter than other convertibles and not practically shaped for forward facing mode (shaped more like a capsule so that it is very reclined forward facing). Internal harness and tether strap get twisted and tangled very easily and are difficult to untwist and adjust.

Excellent – I have lost count of the ppl that have made comment on how great this seat is when they see me getting my son out. It is worth every cent that you spend on it. I love everything about this car seat. It is great with our 4WD. There is no bending or twisting to get your baby out the seat does it all for you. I can't talk about it enough, it is just… Read more

the best seat! The silly little sun shade. We have never used it. I also think it dose get a little hot in there. But what car seat doesn't!!!!

Bad – A good idea in theory though not in practice. The turn a tot feature is a bit more trouble than its worth in most cases and the seat is quite short so great for rear facing but not so great forward. I can see that this seat could be used incorrectly by many parents as its a bit fiddly. Relatively compact in rear facing mode, would suit someone… Read more

with a back injury - saves twisting etc. Comes with a gated buckle for enabling a secure and tight fit to the car with the seat belt. You have to loosen the upper anchorage strap to be able to turn the seat every time you use it. The instructions would be hard to follow if you were a first time installer. Cheap looking fabric that is hot.

OK – Good quality car seat. Comfy padding. Easy to adjust seatbelt. Two covers to cater for a new born or toddler. Includes two covers, one for new borns and one for toddlers, easy to adjust the five point seat belt which comes in handy especially on cooler days when baby is all rugged up and you need to loosen. It is good turning the seat around to… Read more

get baby in and out but can be quite time consuming in doing so. When the seat is in the forward facing position it reclines a little too much for my sons liking. The new born seat cover is a bit hot for a summer baby.

Excellent – This carseat was fantastic to use, especially in the rearward facing mode. However, my son has grown too tall for it even though he is only just 2 years old and weighs 14.5kg so had to move him into a different carseat well before he reached 18kg. He is tall for his age but when I bought the carseat I hadn't actually thought about whether my son… Read more

would be too tall for his carseat before he reached the weight limit. He did get a good 2 years out of this great seat though. Has been excellent to use in my All Wheel Drive and especially kind to my back. Absolutely loved using it in the infant rearward facing mode. Infant padding is very comfy and easy to take off and wash. Also loved not needing to have the silly bracing bar like alot of infant seats have these days when they are in rearward facing mode. The easy adjusting seatbelts are a godsend as well. I didn't like the time it took to loosen up the anchor strap each time I wanted to turn it when it was in the forward facing mode. It was very time consuming so I stopped bothering to turn it when it was in this mode. Just used it like a normal carseat when my son was old enough to face forward.

Bad – waste of money, by 2 years old had to buy another car seat, not enough side & neck protection especially when falling asleep. Tilted too far back. In small car, never used the turning device and with the base, made it hard to remove him in & out, kept hitting the roof top of car. In the rear facing position, it was snuggly & comfy but never have… Read more

been able to use turning device. My baby grew out of it too quickly. Only good as rear facing, not forward facing. leaned back too much for child to look out the window straighr.
