Wouldn't buy it again – I bought this fridge because I liked how usable the space was, can fit a 1.25l bottle in the door ect. However I am exceptionally disappointed with how noisy it is, especially as it runs on and off about every 3-5 minutes, both on battery and 240v. It draws around 2.9 - 3.6a and can use up to 40ah in 24hrs in about 36 degrees. The only good thing about it is it keeps the food cold, no dramas there.

Purchased in for $1,350.

I am in two minds about this one – Fridge is 11yrs old. Noiselevel is very disappointing and currentdraw is substantially higher than stated. 2.9 to 3.6A. Well ventilated and a good powersupply. Can struggle in constant high temperatures. Shelves had to be replaced, freezerdoor repaired and support put under the door opposite the hinged side. This to prevent it from breaking out of the hingepins on corrugations. Would I buy another one, not likely with the offerings around at the moment. Note it does not come near my 13yr old waeco 80ltr chestfreezer as far as power consumption is concerned. Both are running in similar conditions of similar sized powerpacks. 2x120Ah AGM batteries. Engel in the camper Waeco in the car.

Purchased in for $1,259.

Good fridge freezer – Good unit if you don't continuously open and close the door. This unit was bought in 2011 to replace a 32 year old gas fridge freezer. Works well in hot or cold ambient temperatures however I have discovered that in very hot weather ( 35 C deg +) the fridge will work much better and bring down temps in the fridge much faster and at a lower temperature control setting ie just over 3 if the tray that sits under the freezer is removed from the fridge . The only thing that has died on the unit was the turbo fan ( at 4.5 years of continuous operation) and so I replaced with a 12 volt computer fan that I manually turn off and on in extreme temps (40 C deg +) I am very happy with this unit.

Be prepared to replace after 3 years – OK performance but not as good as a chest fridge/freezer. Tends to let a lot of cold air out when opened OK performance. I have had two of these fridges that have died in the last 4 years. The last died about 3 months after warranty expired.
