Benq FP222W / FP222W-B

Excellent – served me well, and still continues to do so. great product considering the brand and price at time of purchase, lasts long great performance and life a little too big for my liking
Terrible – This monitor performed adequately during its service life but died suddenly without warning. The monitor just went black and couldn't get its picture back. Would definitely stay away from Benq in the future. It was comparatively cheaper at the time of purchase The unit lasted just under 3 years from the date of manufacture
OK – On balance, in my opinion, the cheaper price of this unit makes up for its faults. I have had no performance issues with it and it looks good. Aside from being a dedicated gamer, I'm using the unit for professional CGI work and it satisfies my needs though it's certainly not outstanding. Inexpensive. Reasonable all round performance with good colour and contrast results. At it's heart it has the same LCD as many more expensive units including some of the Dells. Each time there is a resolution change, and you'll be surprised how many times Windows does that, there is a time delay of about a quarter of a second and an incredibly anoying panel pops up in the centre of the screen obscuring whatever is underneath. There is no way to turn this panel off. If you're a gamer, you're going to miss out on the first second or so of the startup cut scene. This is not a drastic problem, and one you can learn to live with as you pocket the difference between this and a more expensive unit, but it's just so anoyign that there isn't a way of turing it off - didn't Benq do any customer trials?
