Asco hot plate – I find the AscoHC1643G very hard to use the cooking settings you can hardly see the + and — signs, i have to wear glasses to see the very small settings, if you have poor eyesight don’t get this hot plate. It turns itself off, when you put a small object on the stove top like a spoon. Also it takes a long time to reach the desired heat. This… Read more

Asko T120 – Horrible quality brushed stainless steel. It oxidise, rust and stain! Very cheap product I contacted Asko and and I was told to use Selleys cleaner... What a nonsense Appalling customer service. They did not return the calls. My request of replacing the whole defective item was refused. After 6 months of battling with phone calls, I… Read more

managed to have the rusty parts replaced (even the knobs were rusty). First time technician arrived with the wrong parts, second time he replaced the knobs only, the third time the job was completed

After less then a month, rusty stains are reappearing.

Dreadful product and customer service.

High price tag but low quality – - The Wok burner is hard to get lit. Have to turn on the Wok first before putting cookware, otherwise could not turn it on. - Stain, Stain, stain.. it tarnishes and goes burnt brown all of the burners, especially the Work and can't be cleaned. - I bought the Asko 1984 AD $1999 from the Goodguys a month ago as they said that Asko cooktop has… Read more

good quality and never on sales, every reseller/shops has the same price.. Now Goodguys is selling for $1599. And I know that I made a mistake when buying Asko without googling the this review.

Asko used to be good – The new Asko company (Slovenia) does not compare to previous Asko. The product is cheap and nasty but with a high price tag. The gas consistently goes out when trying to lower the flame; the wok flame is a joke; the anthracite material is awful and retains heat. The cooktop looks good but it's sub-standard. If you enjoy cooking, don't buy Asko. … Read more

As for customer service, there is none! Don't bother ringing because no one rings back. Such a shame a good company has become what it is today.

Permanent stain first day – Black anthracite stained on the first use. Can't be removed even after using asko recommended cleaning products. Auto ignition is slow. Should have bought plain stainless steel and saved $500. Our first asko product. It will be our last.

Function good Maintenance POOR – The functionality of the cook top is generally good - except flame does go out easily when turned down low. The layout of the burners is good and it is great with the wok burner on the side. However, the major drawback is cleaning brushed stainless steel - DON'T get the brushed s/s. It tarnishes and goes a burnt brown colour around all of the… Read more

burners. Asko have recommended I use over cleaner!! Well I bought a pyrolytiic oven so that I wouldn't have to use toxic oven cleaners!!!

Unable to adjust flame – The burners can't be adjusted to cook on low without almost turning them off which is fiddly and sometimes does result in them going out. Have been unable to get any help from ASCO to solve this problem despite contacting them on numerous occasions. As a high end product I expected more. The only plus is the layout which is good.

T130 – Layout is good, but conversion to LPG has made the WOK burner very poor in heating capacity. Would suggest this be fixed to make good cooker. SS needs a polish to make easier to clean. Trivets are good and auto ignition is also OK, but no substitute for a good hot WOK burner layout WOK burner not hot emough

absolute rubbish – we have had nothing but problems with this cooktop - the Wok burner is a monster to try and get lit and goes out all the time. The adjustment of the gas is also poor - more or less you have it full on or barely on. Rubbish product in my view and I would not dream of buying anything from ASKO again. looks nice almost impossible to get the wok burner lit

Can't get the wok burner ignite at all. Only using a match stick or a special lighter.

Asko T130 – We just renovated our kitchen and initially were going to install a 60cm stovetop, a Westinghouse one to be exact. Our old kitchen had a Bosch stovetop but we found it to be small especially when a lot of pots were being used. The Westinghouse one had the burners spaced further apart but it was only a four burner. Whilst looking for a stovetop,… Read more ·  3

we came across the T130 and have not looked back. We were concerned at first that the 75cm width would be an issue but it’s perfect. Love how the Wok burner is to the far left and how powerful the jets are.

My only dislike, and only a minor one, is that splashes etc are not as easy to clean as an enamel surface.

Apart from that, highly recommend the T130. Great layout, powerful jets A little more difficult to clean than an enamel surface

Excellent – We chose this because of the layout, and the decision was right. The wok burner to one side allows us to use a wok or large pan and still use the other burners. Having the simmer burner at front is great for making sauces etc where you want low heat and not to have to lean over other pots on high temperature. It is very reliable, the trivets are… Read more ·  1

strong and allow pots to be slid from one burner to another (except for the wok burner which is raised). Heat output is excellent and the fine control is good so the burners can be turned down very low. We cook too much & make a fair mess: this stove top is easy to keep clean. Wide range of gas/heat control; easy to clean; strong trivets; good layout. Takes a few clicks - maybe 10 seconds - to light flame.
