2 Manish B.  · Just eaten totally dry apple from aldi keilor down 3038. First time bad experience from aldi. Would be careful in future in aldi shopping.
1 David P.  · Purchased killarnee lamb for1/4 chops - 6 pack - top 3 chops were good bottom 3 chops were all bone & fat - very disappointing on
5 Peter I.  · gteat value products and would shp ever day when open
1 Kez  · Aldi have replaced 6 pack No Sugar coke with their own brand Regal. It's awful. Aldi build a brand then dump it and replace with their own. I am over this
1 maddog  · Bought scotch fillet steak. Mainly gristle and tough as nails! Do yourself a huge favour, buy meat at your local butcher!
3 DEBBIE  · Usually i'm happy with Aldi products but they have changed their sausages. They look, cook and taste terrible.Even my dog Brandi wasn't happy

Don’t go to Aldi Innaloo WA before 10am as they only have one cashier open and no self serve. The line is huge with everyone grumbling. They will lose their elderly customers because we shop early and can’t stand in lines for that amount of time. Show details

PUBLIC SAFETY WARNING: Dangerous Appliance and Unacceptable Sub-Standard product by ALDI: I am posting this to warn families and the community about an incredibly dangerous appliance and the unacceptable low-grade standards maintained by ALDI Australia. In August 2024, our Stirling 80L Electric Oven (Model 708188) spontaneously exploded. The… Read more

glass door blasted outward while the unit was not even in use. This was a brand-new appliance, professionally installed by a builder’s technician in a new home. Most shockingly, the oven had never been used—the original factory tags were still attached when it shattered, sending lethal glass shards across our kitchen.

This is not just a faulty product; it is a dangerous appliance that is unsafe to society and families. A product that explodes without provocation is a severe threat to any household with children or pets.

Furthermore, ALDI's response to this Major Failure has been appalling. Despite the unit being well within its 36-month warranty, ALDI has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability. After two years of delays, they have refused to cover the $249 professional installation and removal fee required to safely replace their defective hardware. Their offer of a $199 refund and a $100 gift card does not even cover the basic cost of a plumber, effectively asking me to pay out of my own pocket for their product's life-threatening failure.

ALDI’s willingness to sell such low-grade, hazardous equipment and then hide behind inadequate "store credit" offers is a disgrace to Australian consumer standards. Do not trust your family’s safety with ALDI’s kitchen appliances.

ALDI’s attempt to avoid all future liability for a dangerous, exploding appliance by offering a measly $100 gift card is unconscionable; it is a dismissive insult to consumer safety and the Australian Consumer Law that fails to cover even the interest on your two-year delay, let alone the actual cost of a safe installation.

I'm planning to officially reported this safety breach to EnergySafe Victoria and the ACCC as this is the matter of safety to the community

I always buy the International cuisine beef lasagna for my family as a cheap dinner night option. Safe to say NEVER AGAIN!!!! Thoroughly disgusted, No white sauce or cheese next no mince in it and when I pulled it out of the microwave is was like runny liquid swooshing around on on three layer of pasta sheets. Not to mention had a off odour to it. I am getting sick of these businesses cutting corners!!! Putting people at risk!!! Show details

Remano Pasta – I bought 2 bags of Remano Large Shell Pasta from my local Aldi Store. I bought them on the Friday and opened them on Sunday to cook both bags. Both bags contained some sort of inserts which I then through both bags in the bin. I emailed Aldi straight away and to date I haven't heard anything from anybody with in Aldi. Product very disappointing and Customer Service abysmal Show details

I bought Huxley-branded guitar strings in a clearly marked 3-pack. Turns out the packs only contained 1 set of guitar strings. It was not a one-off packaging 'mistake' as I bought 4 packs and they were all the same.

Do not buy their sugar coated cashew nuts. It coated with too much sugar and not much taste of the nut. The sugar is too much, feel like I am eating sugar only. Would rather pay more buying nuts from Coles or woolworths. This is an absolutely garbage food. Show details

Cooked slowly today for lunch and hit with massive amounts of pepper and must be ground chilli flakes. Second attempt. Definitely no more. No indian restaurant cook like this. Barissimo coffee pods, in my opinion are terrible, and honestly, one of the worst tasting coffee brands I've ever experienced when it comes to pod style capsules. It smells burnt, it tastes bitter like you're drinking something that's been sitting on brew for days, like those coffee drip machines the US like to drink. Won't be buying these again! Show details

Adventureridge Gazebos from Aldi. 2 years ago we bought the deluxe Adventureridge Gazebo from Aldi. It works great so last year when we saw them for sale again we grabbed another. Slight problem = even though both were marketed as the deluxe model they are not the same. The newer deluxe gazebo has no antipooling frame. No velcro strap securing.… Read more

And it folded in very light rain. Absolute rubbish product. And I'm not sure what misleading conduct is these days but selling the same branded product as the same model when they are not the same, must come close. Photos attached showing the older "good" deluxe gazebo and the newer cr#p one (avoid at all costs).

Treated like an id*ot by a self opinioned self righteous customer service person in the self serve isle. Morley western Australia 1300hrs 30 April. Disgusting attitude to customers. Will go back Mount Lawley. Morley was a great store. Show details

Follow-up  · Aldi responded very quickly to my concern. I have been to the store several times since and received the excellent service that I have been used to.

Disgusting customer service from [Name Removed], we visited Carmel Village Aldi, I left my mobile there, there is no way to actually call the shop to… Read more

check if someone found my mobile, been ringing my mobile all afternoon but no one picked up, so at the same time we went online and launched an enquiry, asking them to notify me at my partner's mobile, because we live at glossodia and I realised that I left my phone at Aldi when we arrived home...we would go to Sydney again the next day, so I just asked for reassurance that someone had my phone, until next day afternoon. I mentioned all these in my email, and she came back to me saying that I have to go at the store. When I asked her just to call someone at the store and check she didn't even answer my email. Nothing. We had to drive all the way back, because nobody, at 2026, couldn't answer a simple question. There is no customer service

Follow-up  · No one cared I had to go all the way back to Sydney because there was no one to answer my call about my mobile There was no answer from a customer service representative No one cares

I bought 3 children's long sleeve cotton tops. The child is an average size and currently wearing size 2 and sometimes size 3. The body of the tops purchased is too shot and the sleeves, though a bit long, can be folded back. Disappointing and unuseable. Show details

Follow-up  · As these long sleeve tshirts did not fit they were not worn or washed. Although the sleeves were too long and could have been altered the body was too short for warmth or comfort.

Love ALDI, I always love going in and looking at the special buys to see new interesting things, and ive always got stuff from there and its been great, I got a whipper snipper from there and its excellent, also I usually buy my meat there and it tastes awesome, its pretty lean, which compared to coles and woolworths has more fat than meat, Ive… Read more

always loved ALDI in general and I never walk out empty handed from there, I dont understand why people hate on it so much whenever they once get a product that doesnt fit them and is not designed for what they want. All of my ALDI products have always been in excellent quality, I once had to return something because I got the wrong product and they were excellent with the return, like they are in general, and pricing is the best there at ALDI.

An amazing place to shop, I average $100 per week shopping for two people in groceries I used to shop exclusively in Woolworths but the Brad Banducci events turned me off. I consider that the Aldi model is more about delivering value to customers rather than executives incomes and shareholder profits at any expense. Just little things matter like… Read more

buying similar to Cornetto Ice Creams (on half price special at $6 elsewhere) for $3.39 a box of four, made in Australia and the same weight per ice cream, everyday for the same price. Or 1kg Block Tasty Cheese for $8.99 everyday when others on special are $13.99 They have more to offer Australians than most realise, because they concentrate on the grocery business, not virtue signalling and deception.

Can't see fantastic manager used to work she was great. there just two lone staff by themselves. Can't call them as no phone number and also no store ph number all through email bit woeful given the billion dollars supermarket make lately.where has their call centre gone

On 21.05.2026 at 3:10pm I was in a busy time at the register. The young lady at the checkout asked how I was but didn’t even look at me. She also spoke through me to speak to an older worker about football. I found that extremely rude. After I was finished the older man then went into the line and spoke to her more infront of other customers. I was annoyed and shocked. Extremely poor customer service

Very disappointing experience at ALDI Kardinya. We wanted to buy a ski jacket that was clearly displayed with a $59 sign, but when we went to pay, it scanned at $99. We politely asked for clarification, but instead of a simple apology for the confusion, the manager Scott gave a series of excuses, saying maybe another customer had moved the item… Read more

from a different section. The problem is there was no other section with that price sign at all.

Mistakes can happen in any store, but what made this frustrating was the attitude and the attempt to shift the blame instead of just acknowledging the error professionally. A simple apology and better customer service would have made a big difference.
