Don't off road and then it's good – Stroller was easy to manoeuvre in shops. You have to learn when to lock the wheels so they can't spin 360 degrees. It's great to have them spinning 360 to easily slide out of awkward spaces in a super market. On the pavement it's best to lock either front or back wheels so it goes straight without using lots of energy. As all wheels are the same… Read more
size you can't go up even small kerbs. When I cross one pedestrian crossing near me that has a small lump i must turn backwards to drag the stroller on to the pavement.
Baby can't lie totally flat but its very close to flat. My son used this stroller from newborn and had no issues falling and staying asleep in it. It seemed comfortable for him, he was happy in it. This stroller can't be used as a bassinet for night sleeping though.
Don't off road in this stroller. The wheels stopped working properly after 3 months of use. I walked on grass with bumps and a few gravely tracks. It can't cope with this. Much like many strollers including the Uppababy Cruz that I bought as a replacement. This also couldn't take any more than shopping trips and tarmac paths.
If you like to walk places other than tarmac paths or shops with your stroller then I suggest getting a good stroller that can off road a bit. You'll pay a lot for a stroller that can do this though.
The suspension is quite good on this stroller. Baby isn't shaken too much on the bumpy bits, it's just that the wheels will soon break if it goes on this terrain more than a few times. The Uppababy Cruz shook my son a lot more in the gravel.
8 years and still going strong – I bought this pram when I had my first baby 8 years ago. At first I was finding it hard to use, or even push it in a straight line, until I read the INSTRUCTIONS and realised the wheels need to be locked in. After that, this pram was a breeze. I liked how it was all in one piece and didn't need to take it apart. Furthermore, I could switch from… Read more · 1
rear facing to front facing with the flick of the handle, no lifting thankfully! My child used it until he was 3 and then it was used for baby #2, then baby #3. Needless to say, it is looking old now. But it's still usable! Even fits away nicely into the back of my Corolla.
Very heavy to wheel – The only good point is we can reverse the handle. Wheels are very noisy and goes sideways while wheeling. It’s takes lot of energy to keep it straight on pathway. It’s very hard to fold this pram we avoid to take this in the car as it’s very hard to fold and very heavy to put it in the car boot. Show details

So many features - we love it – This was the cheapest pram at Baby Bunting but also had the most features. I really wanted a reverse handle pram to keep bubby out of the sun easily when on walks, so this feature was great. Suitable for newborn - came with newborn insert. Has a mesh cover to protect bubby from the sun and insects. Came with rain cover and two boot covers. Also… Read more · 1
has enough basket room underneath for a few groceries. You can lock wheels into position or leave the unlocked for easy manoeuvrability for getting around right aisles in the shops. I found it collapses and pops up easily and also fits into the boot of my Hyundai i30 no problems. It has a clear window with flab in the canopy to peek through. Also can open up at babies head to let breeze through the mesh on warmer days. It really suits all seasons. We have also taken it on a flight with us and it survived with no issues. It’s a little more robust looking than other strollers, but I actually like how sturdy it is. This is not an off road stroller - it’s too bumpy for that. But for the price it’s packed full of features we wanted.
Nice larger size pram - looks comfy for baby! – We chose this pram as my parents wanted to buy it for us when buns came along. I wanted one with a reversible handle that looked sturdy and connected with a travel system if we decided to use one. (We did decide to use a travel system and found it really easy to use.) There are a lot of good things about this pram. It definitely feels sturdy to… Read more
me and baby looks secure and comfortable. We have used it from birth til now (9months) and I'm pretty sure we will get a lot more use out of it.
The recline of the back has a great range. From straight up, to slight recline, to laying down. Our little one loves to be either bolt upright or out flat when she goes to sleep, so the ease of use of the mechanism to change this has been good for when she falls asleep in the pram.
The basket under the pram is a good size, however it's a little difficult to get to if you have the seat at the full recline. Still, we can fit our large nappy bag in there and other small items (say one small bag of shopping) can be arranged so that it alll fits.
The steering of the pram isn't perfect, but it is ok. It's not great at manoeuvring tight corners, but it's not too much of a hassle - still works ok when you're out shopping without too much trouble.
It folds down easy enough and is not too heavy (though if you're a new mum and have any lifting restrictions...it's not exactly light either!) It isn't a super compact fold either. It fits in the boot of my small SUV easy enough, and we can pack other items around it, but be aware it does take up a reasonable amount of space. )We did manage to stand it up and slot it in behind the drivers seat once when our boot was jam packed, but it's not something we would do regularly.)
One thing that I find really annoying about this pram is the harness/belt straps. I find it so hard to do them up!!! It has shoulder straps, waist straps and one that goes in the centre between baby's legs...the shoulder and waist click into the centre strap but it's just difficult to get them in there correctly!!
The reversible handle is really easy to use and there are separate setting for the wheels depending which way you are going that make the pram more manouverable - don't forget to change the wheels if you decide to change the handle position mid trip!!
It feels sturdy and baby looks comfortable and secure and I think it will last us for quite a lot longer. It's easy to use with a travel system and it has an easy fold.
It may not be the most compact and we have recently looked at compact fold travel strollers recently just for trips away. But this pram is still great for around town. I wouldn't say the suspension is great and sometimes if you're on gravel or bumpy roads, the ride can look a little choppy - though our little one doesn't appear to be too bothered by this.
I like the pram, but it's not perfect.
If you're after an affordable pram and aren't too bothered about a compact fold or one handed manouverability, it's a good choice. It looks and feels safe and sturdy.
The sun shade is great and covers well and ours came with rain cover and a sun/fly net type attachment that has been a great addition in summer.
HORRIBLE – I loved this pram i had a later model for my 2 older sons which is why 6 yrs later i purchased this one July 2016 for my next baby who was due August. When my son was born i couldn't wait to start using it because my other one was wonderful, only to find that when using it with a newborn it would take off side ways on its own accord! That was just… Read more
the beginning of the problems. It felt so heavy and bulky also awkward expecially trying to go backwards which you could only do if you held the handle up and look stupid doing so. The castors on the wheels kept unlocking (which had happened about 7 times at that point and had put my son at risk due to almost going off footpath into gutter) that was the final straw for me i contacted the shop i purchased it from who sent it back to britax for inspection only to pick it up to be told NO FAULT! I used it 3 more times and everytime i did my 9 yr old son had to walk and hold the pram incase we were walking on a lean the wheels unlocked which almost sent my baby into the gutter. It got to the point that i contacted britax again and told them it was still happening which they replied that they needed it back for another inspection i then asked asked how they test it as to whether they had a 6-8kg baby in it and a nappy bag underneath which she couldn't answer. I had to send an email to demand refund as it didn't come close to what was described when i purchased. I believe steelcraft is just rushed for a quick buck these days! Won't ever trust that brand again. Safe to say im very happy with my babylove pram

Love it – Been using it for 4 years and now for second baby since birth who is 6 months old, great quality. It is also easy to use. The only con is that it is a bit heavy and the basket is not easily accessible in layback position Show details · 1
Very sturdy and long lasting pram – Reversible handle allowed me to look at my baby and keep an eye on her when sleeping, etc, as well as turn her to see the world when awake! Very sturdy and accessories were easy to wash and care for. Served me well for 3 long years, and still in perfect condition, its ready to serve someone else! what a great buy! Show reply
Safe – this is easy to operate and comes with all the required instructions. also easy to fold and unfold as it can be done by few seconds. it fits to my car nicely. i love the big wheels and break as it is safe while travelling. quality is good for money.

Worst pram I've owned!!! If I could give less stars I would – With having baby #2 i thought I would lash out and buy a brand new pram. I bought this model because of the handy flip handle to keep my baby out of the sun. I used this pram for a year and my wheels started making a clicking sound and squeaking so I applied wd40 which lasted for a short time before they would become noisy again. I contacted… Read more
steelcraft and was told my pram needed to be driven over 3 hours away to the nearest service centre to get it fixed/replaced with no postage option. I couldn't do this so I continued using the pram. Well 2 years in, me and my 2 year old were 30 mins from home today and my front wheel has completely snapped off at the metal and I had to make her walk barefoot back home while I dragged the pram with me. Worst experience ever!!! On top of this, I have experienced the handle lock not working and being stuck in public not being able to fold my pram down to put in the car

Piece of crap – What a load of crap this thing is constant issues folding it the handle is lopsided the wheels have rotation issues if I could get my money back I’d do that. Only had it 4 months already looking to buy another stroller oh and it won’t be steelcraft I will find something else

Don't buy unless they have improved it – Shonky pram. Maneuverability poor this pram went very which way, nearby tipping on corners. Folding could not get this pram to fold and we had 10mins to get out of the car park after paying or risk paying again at the hospital. Hubby put baby in car drove out of car park whilst I pushed it out and manage to fold it 16mins later! I brought it for… Read more
the reverse handle, a month later when shopping I had baby facing outwards, and I placed a grocery bag on the handle containing 2 bananas, 2 apples, and a packet of muesli bars. Hardly heavy! And this darn pram tipped backwards and baby wasn't happy and neither was mum. Omg! That was the last day I used that pram. I came on product review looking for a stable more sturdy pram, I looked on choice I found a way better pram the steelcraft strider. Even with a 20kilo toddler standing in the second seat it doesn't tip.
Buyer beware when buying this please! We tossed ours on the tip.

Simply love it! – This pram is so comfortable! It rolls well & takes awkward angles well with bubs barely noticing. love the reverse handle!! it cradles bubs well is semi easy to fold (once u get the hang of it) large but not too heavy my 6ft hubby doesn’t look or feel odd pushing it washes well if bubs vomits or has a nappy accident Only downfall is it needs a can holder! Pram is good but buckle is too loose so can not say it's reliable – I really loved it when I bought and used it for few months but than after I noticed that buckle is not tight enough so belt could not worked as it should be so always fear whether baby is ok When I enquired about replacing I found I need to stiched with workman which is too far from my place Little annoyed
Great multi-function pram for big walks! – This pram is very easy to maneuver. It did take a bit of getting used to how the wheels work. Originally I was hesitant about purchasing this pram based on other reviews (most of the comments were on the way the wheels work). Upon using the pram, i have found that there are 2 locking functions on each wheel, One for the brakes and one for the… Read more
steering, the rear wheels of the pram(the ones closest to you) should ALWAYS have steering lock on and the wheels at the front (the set furthest away from you should not have steering lock). Once you set the pram up this way it is very easy to use. The pram is easy to fold and store away but is a bit on the heavier side (compared to the light weight prams on the market). I am very happy with the build quality.
Reverse handle is the best feature with this – We bought this in 2010 with our first child and now using it back with my second one. Still looks almost new. We just noticed a piece of safety harness is missing and we have no clue how it went off without any jerk or mishandling. I carefully kept this pram for my second one and now really upset with this. Its such a good stroller bit heavy in weight though but overall a good buy.
Acclaim or agile elite???? – Just wondering if the steelcraft acclaim better than the steelcraft agile elite??? (Especially for a newborn??). I was looking at getting the elite because i already have a britax infant carrier that will fit perfect but I really like the reverse handle on the acclaim...and also does the steelcraft infant carrier fit into the acclaim? Good but weight needs to be improved, feels to heavy – GOOD Its relatively easy to use and I got it in deal. Baby feels comfortable. The best part is that the it comes with reverse handle. Good storage. BAD It Feels too heavy. occupies too much space. style can be improved. over all a good product if you don't mind lifting a bit of weight.

Good, versatile pram – My granddaughter loves this pram and always looks nice and snug and safe in it. It has a good storage compartment and the reverse handle is terrific so you can always keep an eye on her. The wheels are a bit tricky to lock in at first, but once you’ve got the hang of it, all is good. It is fairly easy to manoeuvre and can go most places. The only… Read more · 1
downside is that the handle sits a little too high and can’t be adjusted. Otherwise, a nice lightish-weight, versatile pram which folds up well and is great for smaller cars.
Everything good about this pram but the wheels – I like everything about this reverse handle pram. The boot is large and I can out so many things there, the handle is a god-sent, I can always see my baby if I want to and also change direction if the sun is facing the baby. The pram is comfortable and the baby naps there and also sits upright very well. The only thing that needs changing is the… Read more · 1
wheels. I still cannot understand how to lock them properly so that they go where I want them to go, it is very tricky to maneuver.
Perfect for my first baby I love it she loves it could not ask for a better one – Very easy to use very happy with everything about it I love it bubs loves it fantastic product for the price very comfy fantastic fabric lots of room to go shopping it’s a fantastic pusher built solid live how the handle goes both ways so bubs can look at me or look at everything around her
Perfect pram for a new mother – I am a new mother myself and like to keep constant eye on my baby, I found this pram nice because I can see the baby all the time when I push him around and if the sun gets too hot or it gets too windy I can easily reverse the handle and the baby will face the opposite direction. I also found the wheels not easy to manoeuvre and it does go from… Read more
side to side a bit. It does take a bit of practice to fold and unfold the pram when folding it to fit int he boot of the car.

Great pram – This pram is easy to steer, easy to fold down and back up, its not super heavy to lift in to the car and its not overly bulky. Its also fairly roomy and my 18 month old can still nap in it and not be squashed. Good quality and has several reclining seat positions. Handle also can be reversed.
Thing has a mind of it's own – Like my title says... this stroller has a mind of its own i swear. You try to turn left it goes right, you turn right it goes straight.. try to reverse it goes left right left right left right!! I got it because i like the idea of a reverse handle but my god was it a bad move!! Oh and it locks up when you pack it away to the point you will have to… Read more
use every muscle in your arms to pull it apart when you need it!! And it makes baby very hot even with the ventilation mesh thing open. Pay that extra few $ and get something more reliable and safe!
Not the best not the worst – It's very hard to maneuver. Each time you put the handle to opposite way You have to re lock the wheels so you can push the pram. When you are on a slant the pram tends to go to one side and almost tip over. It's easy to fold unfold. However it's not something you can just 'carry' The quality is great. It's just the wheels that need fixing
good product – Great stroller my friend bought this one and is so happy with it .it is so easy to fold down and easy to use .she gets so many compliments when she takes her baby out for a walk or shopping in it. Quality is good and the price was good deal as well
did not like it – This was terrible i found it difficult to manouvre. As my daughter got older and heavier ot was even worse to use. I found it a struggle to take her out in it. I preferred a cheap stroller tp it but only kept it since i spent around 150 on it. Definitely not worth the price
Love the reverse handle – I like this pram because the reverse handle it's so helpful specially when you have a newborn. It is easy to pack. I don't like the way the sit goes up for a more vertical position and the lack of accesories in the market like the pram liners. The weals are easy to manouvre.
Great pram for different baby development stages – This pram is suitable for many baby development stages from newborn to an older baby. It is perfect if you want to take it for a walk or to the shops. Has plenty of room in the boot and it the baby is very cosy and comfortable in it. THe wheels are a bit bulky but it is still ok to manoeuvre. THe reversible handle is great as well as you can see… Read more
your baby all the time or talk to your toddler when pushing them around. THe only disadvantage is not easy to fold or unfold. It will suit if you do not use a car every day
Bulky but not too bad – Positive: +Reversible handle makes it a good pram for a small baby as well as an older one. + Stable and easy to maneuver +Easy to keep clean +Enough storage space Negative: - Folding and unfolding it is a nightmare - Bulky and heavy - The shade could be bigger to protect baby from sun more
Great revesible handle – I also bought this Steelcraft Acclaim because of the reversible handle. It looked cute and I loved the idea of seeing the baby when pushing him around in a stroller. Unfortunately, the wheels are not easy to maneuver and are bulky. It also takes time to fold it when putting in the car.
terrible to fold – brought this for our little girl, it barely ever folded properly on the first go even after trying all the tips and hints... terrible to push and very bulky. the only positive is the reverse facing so we could see out little bub but other than that honestly terrible now have a agile and love it.
Bulky but durable – We bought this pram because of the multiple functions such as being able to reverse the handle and laying the seat flat for newborn. The wheels are smooth and easy to maneuver. You can also lock the wheels when the ground is uneven. The downside is the size. You can build some muscles lifting this in and out of the boot. It also takes up most of… Read more
the room in the boot of a small hatch. Having said that, we've been using it for 2 years now and it's still going strong. I even took it to hiking once!
I love tge reversible handle but its heavy – I bought the steelcraft acclaim pram because of the reversible handle. The pram is easy to fold.. Drives smoothly.. Has bag under the baby seat that has zip which is great. Only problem for me is its too heavy to lift. Thats all. Overall i like this product so i gave 4 stars.
Perfect for concrete paths and flat surfaces – What I love about this pram is the movable handle! This is great when you want Bub facing you as you walk. Great for shopping centre use and on smooth paths. It has difficulty monovering over bumps or between streets up and down paths. It does handle shopping bags well though and you're able to load it up with bags in the storage section under… Read more
Bub, and also hanging off the handle. Lasted me over 3 years and was very sturdy. It's also really easy to put down and up.
