OK – This router is fairly good, better than some I've used in the past, but that's not to say there aren't significant drawbacks. The software this installs on your computer rarely works, forcing you to use the windows wireless connections software. At times the two programs will clash, and both will stop working. Once a connection has been established, which can take some time, it is liable to drop out repeatedly, and for no apparrent reason. When it is set to connect to a particular network automatically upon detection, it often requires the user to open the software and manually open the connection.

Despite stating that it is backwards compatible, allowing connection using 54Mbps adaptors, if more than one such connection is made at the same time, both machines will disconnect frequently. Fairly good security and transfer rates. Poor connections, and problems when running setup.

Good – Nice neat package user interface easy to follow, musr remember to change the default admin password. Wire connection easy to setup at what ever speed/ security level needed. comes with power adapet and on cable for the modem. easy to setup small footprint, 4 port hub share internet connection, wireless connection variety of speeds needs usb connectors

Good – This is a fairly reliable if old design router that is easy to configure and would suit a person with XP machines. The latest firmware is dated 2006 and until a new one is posted to fix the Vista problems I wouldn't receommend it to Vista users. Works well with Windows XP computers. Easy to setup with web interface. Doesn't like Windows Vista. I had to plug in an ethernet cable and run the web setup wizard every few days for a Vista laptop to be able to reliably connect. At the same time none of my XP laptops had a problem.
