Bad – These are inherently faulty units. They have issues with bad capacitors according to a DSPH manager, was told they were recalled and replaced. So I bought a refurb which apparently fixed this issue, yet this unit I have failed after less than a month. They changed their story to saying they needed 'software upgrades'. Unit came back saying faulty capacitors replaced, so go figure. Fast, easy to use, cheap Faulty
Bad – i bought a digital set top box which i believe is a DSE-1185, it has worked fine up until about a month ago. It started to make a lot of crackling, popping and screeching noises, and we can not watch any tv with it because of the noises and it cuts out all of the time now. we have at least a one and a half metres high aerial on our roof which could not be the source of the problem as we have turned it everyway possible. the set top box ( DSE 1185) will not pick up any channels and it is displaying that there is no signal,
