Bosch 32 / 32Q

Poor units – Coming from a hot water tech. Very poor Chinese made unit. Have 6 systems in block of unit only one is working. They have had multiple services, repairs and components replaced but 5/6 have failed. Don’t buy, install, repair or fix go straight to Rinnai - Japanese made, bullet proof, excellent reliability excellent warranty. Show details

Awful. Every time we have heavy rain it stops working – We have 2 units for our house. The main unit stops working every time we have heavy rain. The plumber said that he spoke to a bosch technician and they said that it is a know issue that happens when moisture gets into the unit. These are supposed to be outdoor units. How can they not be able to handle some rain? Show details

Best Hot Water system ever – Absolutely the best HWS we have ever had it is going on 14 years old now and we have never had an issue with it. Great technology and great build quality. Show details

Bosch 32 Definitely Rubbish – Two Bosch 32 heaters installed in a block of units, each heater serving 9 units. The heat exchanger has failed (leaking) on one unit just outside the 5 year warranty period. Bosch will have nothing to do with the matter except to say that the warranty has expired and they will not provide a replacement heat exchanger or offer any concessional… Read more

price. In fact their total help was to provide the name of a Bosch service agent. Clearly, these units are inferior rubbish and poorly made. Bosch is a supposedly reputable company but does not stand by its products. After this experience, I would not deal again with Bosch, and would not trust the durability of any of their products and would not trust Bosch to stand behind them in the event of premature failure. The only positive note is that the heaters coped with the demand and provided a relatively stable temperature, but hey, that's what they are supposed to do because they are commercial heaters.

These are rubbish – We had 2 of these units installed in the unit complex (8) and within 2 years the heat exchangers failled twice on both units. After being charged over $500.00 each time by AGL servicemen for labour (not covered under the warranty) and receiving pathetic service we have decided to bite the bullet and replace them with different units.

32Q – Don't waste your time buying a bosch 32 Q . I have had problems with it since it was installed no one at bosch can tell you what a code 63 or code 92 is and no one at bosch cares to help. They sent out a service repair man who didn't even look at the hot water unit and said I had purchased the wrong product. All I wanted was a continuous hot water… Read more

service which is what this 32 Q is supposed to do. And if it didn't work at all I would accept that but some days you turn it on and it doesn't miss a beat that's 25% of the time . The rest the of the time it doesn't know what its doing the control panel says the pump is working but its not the flame is on indicating that the water is being heated but the water is cold. The sales staff won't let you talk to the technicians the service people in my area aren't helpful .

Total waste of time wish I had never found them on the net.

32q hot water system – I have had enough of these hot water systems . I am just in the process of replacing my second 32q in about four years. both units have failed with the same problem of getting boiling hot before shutting down. I'm just glad that the grand ids haven't been burned. As i have extremely long hot water runs, the pump system saved me from wasting water. Constant failure of unit and no technical bacup.my company was a service agent for Bosch, until now.
