Awful pram – My parents bought us this pram and capsule before our first baby was born end of 2015, which was lovely but makes me feel even worse that they wasted their money on such an awful pram. The frame is just odd. We have a VE commodore and a Prado. The pram now has massive scrape marks from trying to be squeezed into the commodore and we had to keep… Read more
the back seats upright and fold the handle of the pram so it would fit in the Prado. If you can't make a pram that fits in either a large family sedan or a large 4wd then you should probably sack your design team. It's also really awkward to click in and not have it randomly collapse on you.
The wheels have squeaked awfully since new, even with silicone spray. They were so loud they used to wake our baby up. And you have to keep a firm grip on the handle at all times with both hands or it lurches to one side. It's like an arm wrestle trying to keep it straight.
The seat just doesn't seem right. I could never get the angle of the footwell right. The hood is strange with the way it clicks loudly (waking the baby up when trying to put the hood over). The hood doesn't even come close enough to being useful, it's just too small. My baby is now 13mo, 50th percentile for height and her feet have now reached the end. The seat never feels quite stable when locked in.
The capsule is basic but okay. Very hot in summer. Very hard to line up when attaching to the pram frame. I will possibly use it for another baby (on a different pram, or perhaps just as a car seat). But the base is so stiff that I wound up with severe tendonitis in my wrist from trying to pull it out, and I stopped using it as a travel system.
When my baby was 5mo I was so over the folding and trying to squeeze it into our large cars that I bought a secondhand Baby Jogger Versa (since the best part about the Cruiser was the ability to parent face). That was when I realised just how badly designed this pram was. The Versa is a beautifully made pram. We are hoping to have another baby soon and I have been looking at double prams. My experience with this pram has turned me off looking at the Steelcraft Strider Compact as an option.
Very happy with this – We were given this pram as a gift after being able to choose which one we wanted within a certain budget. For the price it's definitely great. Honestly I didn't use the attachment it comes with at the start as I bought the bassinet and infant carrier for it to use for the first 5 months. (As a side note I bought those off Gumtree which isn't… Read more
always recommended but if you thoroughly check the condition you can get a bargain.)
The travel "system":
Including the bassinet (which they don't sell anymore) and the infant carrier it is so convenient to swap around for certain situations.
*The infant carrier clips straight in and out of the car, great for short trips to the shops or a restaurant. It isn't recommended to keep them in their for longer than 2 hours though including the car trips!
*The bassinet was good to keep baby lying completely flat at the start, but she didn't like it as much as she wasn't as cosy.
The pram:
*The width is ideal as it's not too wide like my sister's Strider Plus. Good to squeeze through busy city footpaths or through shopping aisles.
*It is a lot lower than other prams out there, and it's a bit hard to squeeze the wife's full Mimco Zeta baby bag into the space underneath.
*Folds relatively flat and it *just* fits into our Volkswagen Bora boot (some random might find this useful).
*It didn't come with any hooks to hold bags or a cupholder but you can buy these cheap. (They're not really safe anyway as too much weight on the handle can tip the pram, and a hot drink in the cupholder can spill and burn baby.)
*The grips are comfy and good for my sweaty hands lol. The strap is good added safety.
*All 4 wheels and mudguards come off very easily which help me fit it into some boots or when I packed it for a recent flight.
*May feel flimsy but it's held up very well with quite a bit of abuse over the past 5+ months and still going strong.
The standard attachment on the pram is good as it faces both ways so can be used from birth, but we didn't think it looked safe for a newborn, hence the other attachments, but you can get by if you're careful as I've seen others use it for newborns.
The sunshade doesn't extend enough but as others have said you can unclip it from the back and tilt it to your desired angle, but overall only covers probably a 40 degree angle.
Overall the size and weight of the pram is lightweight, relatively strong, easy to push and once you get the hang of it easy to fold up. I'd recommend this to anyone who thinks the new space age style prams are ugly. Lightweight, narrow, easy to fold, stanced. Sunshade doesn't cover enough, smallish space under the seat for baby bags.
Versatile system – After buying the bassinet attachment with the pram I found it easy to switch from one to the other. We recently bought the infant capsule for our second born and I don't know how I lived without it for my first child! When using the infant carrier or the seat you can easily access the shopping basket underneath and it holds a large nappy bag!… Read more
However, access to the basket is hindered while using the bassinet. Like other mums, I found the lack of shade to be an issue and found it difficult to take the capsule out of the car the first few times but then got the hang of it. It is bulky in the boot of the car however since we bought an SUV we found we didn't even have to fold it down at all, but for my Mazda 3 yes, it does take up room in the boot. All In all though it is good value for money and has lasted us 4+ years and still going strong. Another good feature is how easy it is to steer and switching between the seats is also easy and the pram frame is hardy and is simple to fold and has hard rubber tyres. You can also switch the bigger kid seat around to face you or the world. Sturdy, versatile, fabric washable Lack of shade, bulky
Positive reviews
Affordable, convenient and easy to clean – No real issues, yes it's bulky, BUT that's something you check before purchasing, along with the weight , one must be able to lift the pram easily for those mum & baby adventures:) Easy system, like everything on life.. Once you know HOW it works, it's easy. Thanks
great pram for small cars – this is a great pram for people with big cars,i bought this for my daughter, but it did not fit in her small getz. so we sold that and still went with a steelcraft agile, fits just great in her car... I would not go past a steelcraft..love the range of prams with their travel system...its just a shame someone has not done a graph to what prams fit in what type of car.
Love it!! – Fantastic pram!! You can walk or run easily with it. It steers great. It's smooth. My son loves being in it and I love pushing it. It looks amazing. very happy and a great price. Definitely best pram I've used. And the pram can go anywhere grass, dirt haven't tried it on sand yet but just fantastic Easy to control, simple to put together, you can… Read more
run with it and have no issues, you can't get flat tyres the list goes on It takes up a bit of space in the car just needs to be able to fold a little more and it would be the perfect pram
Negative reviews
Absolute garbage – We bought it purely to fit the capsule in it which is handy, however after 2 uses the stroller doesn't lock into place and just collapses. We returned it straight away back to Target. Piece of plastic rubbish. Would not recommend this to anyone, very dangerous. It's also very low.
Sunshade is pointless – I got this pram about 6 months ago. Capsule was great easy to get in and out of car only downfull is its too low. Sunshade doesn't even cover baby at all in the laying position and the wheels are very squeeky and very bulky when putting in car. It folds stupid other than that it's very easy to push.
Silly – This pram is so low and silly. When you put the capsule with it it just looks silly. And not great to push. Wish I had opened it when I bought it so I could have returned it asap. I found the capsule great besides the low sun shade but would never ever recommend to any one

I got an old one for free – Pram I have is November 2002 build date. I got it in November 2018. So it’s 16 years old! -Frame doesn’t fold (or unfold) compact or fantastically. It’s a little stiff and doesn’t “click” as such. But a bit of a wiggle to ensure it’s where it’s supposed to be and won’t unfold or fold, undesirably, and it’s good to go. -Kind of fits in my 80… Read more
series landcruiser wagon boot with seat detached... kinda. -hood could use another section or two as otherwise it doesn’t really shade kiddo in the seat like one would like. I’m going to diy hood extension. -footrest is a bit of a pest for toddler to get in and out of the seat on their own (as they must sometimes) but doable. -fits a school back pack and a nappy bag in the basket. -Basket is clear of my feet when walking. This been an issue with many other prams, but not this one! -I’m 5”2 and adjustable handle works for me and for my 6”4 hubby. In the tall ppl position, it even allows me to somewhat lazy-lean on the handle when I get tired whilst walking. -picked it up for free because the seatbelt clicker Bits had broken. I purchased universal buckle and replaced myself. -goes well in all terrain, from smooth floors to loose gravel/sand/bark chips, from potholes and up and down driveway lips and gutters. It’s easy as! -pram I received has been very well used and very much loved before I started do the same.
Other than seatbelt clicker needing replacement, it pushes, steers and adjusts everywhere perfectly still.
If I’d have paid $200+ for this pram, I’d have been a bit disappointed as it’s not very compact and if I had a normal sized car, it wouldn’t fit in it. Otherwise, I’d have been very satisfied.
Being a bit tight, I have had and tried lots and lots of old cheap/free prams for my 5 kids. This one (as an easy fixable freebie) id give 4 stars.
I thought this pram was 5yrs old at a stretch until I checked build date just now. I’m super impressed given it’s age and how many km’s it’s likely done in its life!
Great Pram system – These are great they're more compact then other prams and easy to maneuver in the shopping center. folds down easy and fits in the boot leaving space. not idea for small cars. All part cip together so easy there is no struggle to put the capsule in, the seat in or the bassinet in.
Best pram – This is a really easy pram to use. Moves around with ease. You can attach the steelcraft baby capsule. Very easy to remove the seat and turn it around. Under storage basket is a little difficult to get to but other then that it is a great pram. For the price and what it can do is value for money.
where can I get my pram fixed? bolt has fallen out of frame – A bolt in the frame has fallen out walst baby was in the pram where can I buy/find these bolts. The pram was brought as a gift and the person can not find the receipt I love this pram but can't afford to buy a new one have only had the pram for 6 months

Decent pram and travel system that complies with all safety standards – Decent pram... That complies with all safety standards and is generally sturdy easy to fold and put in the car though it barely fits in a medium sized 4wd like i30 It cannot be put in a completely horizontal position for new borns. The biggest disappointment is the cover. The rain cover is a separate plastic sheet and the sun roof is… Read more
also quite ordinary and does not easily cover all the pram. It is noisy as well so hard to set when the child is asleep.
Not all it's cracked up to be!!! – Capsule is pretty convenient, but it's really just as easy to take newborn out of car seat!! Little babies don't stay little for long enough for the capsule to be worth it in my opition. The pram itself, wasn't happy with it. Frame is dodgy ..... Bits break way too easily. Also the shade cover ?? - what cover !! It doesn't cover anything sorry!!!… Read more
The fact that you can swap the seat to face foward or back ... Good idea but it makes the whole system dodgy and not secure sorry!!! You cannot access the basket when the seat is down!! It's a massive frame and hard to get through supermarket check outs!!! 1 good thing it is easy to push !!! Saved yourself the trouble consider the Valco Ion with basenette BEST THING EVER!!!
Don't waste your money – I used this pram once and then got a refund. The sun visor would not stay out, kept folding back in. The bones of the pram is flimsy. My advice would be to spend a bit more money and purchase a good quality pram. Stay away from steelcraft or britax. Cheap and nasty. I bought a baby jogger city mini from baby's r us and it's great! Convenient with the carrier Everything. Cheap and nasty
Not worth your money! – I brought my pram 9 months ago, in the past week it has been a nightmare! A screw from the pram frame came off which I now can't even use the pram as I can't put the frame up. A peg from the seat belt broke. Sunshade is terrible, I need a blanket to cover my sons eyes. Also a couple of weeks ago I was at the shops and one of the front wheels came… Read more
off which was so dangerous as I had my baby in the pram when this happen. Only just fits in my car (a medium size sedan), a couple of my friends have got striders and I have no problem putting a strider in my boot've kept this in excellent condition but this pram is just falling apart. Getting my new strider today and throwing this piece of rubbish in the bin.

Budget friendly pram – This pram is great except for the hood being too small. It is brilliant if you are in a budget at it is very durable, lightweight and easy to push. It also doesn't fold very small. My son is 4 months old and I am currently sourcing a new pram as we can't take this one out in the day time unless it is the shops. Affordable, easy to push Hood offers no cover, fold too big
Great Pram – I purchase this pram and capsule before our little one arrived. The capsule is excellent as you can easily transfer baby from home to car to pram easily without disturbing baby. The only downfall on the capsule is that baby didn't really like being put into it, but once in the car/pram was moving, all was fine. The pram is very easy to use and maneuver around. Easy to use. Shade cover too small and took up a lot of room in the boot.
Disappointing – Purchased this pram and capsule before i had my baby. He is currently still in the capsule but we have used the seat two times which is i'm very unhappy with as its useless as the sunshade that it actually has doesnt stay up upon contacting britax i was told it would possibly need new rachets and they would send them out to me, I already want to… Read more
update my pram as im dreading when that seat is his only option however it will be impossible to get anything for it because of the sunshade. The capsule travel system Sunshade does not give enough shade nor stay up
Not what we expected, disappointing – Not having previous experience with prams and capsules we bought this one thinking it would be a great investment as you can use the pram as it is or with the car capsule. Love the capsule, and that you can use it so easily - just pull it out of a car and put on the pram. However it has more issues than advantages. Even though it seems to be well… Read more
made, it has a few design faults. Also (not sure if it's just us) our bub started absolutely hating the capsule when he turned 4 months. May be he couldn't see well out of it, not sure to be honest. My advice to all new parents is to go and actually see the pram you want to buy first before buying online. 1) light 2) can be used with a capsule 3) good wheels 4) seems quite robust and safe 5) easy to fold away 1) sun visor on both capsule and the pram seat are very short, you will need extra sun cover (we've got the outlook one); 2) sun visor on the pram seat just doesn't stay in place, every little bump on a road makes it fold back! So annoying, have to stop every 5 seconds to fix it; 3) the seat doesn't have a flat position, could be handy for some babies;
Not recommended – Today I unfolded the pram an it was clicked in An as is as walking the pram itself started folding with my daughter in it! Lucky I was around people I knew to hold my daughter why I had to re click it back in to place An put the seat back on it That is dangerous I am very unhappy an steelcraft will be hearing from us & We spent big money… Read more
on this pram an he capsules for it
The capsules are to hot for babies no ventilation!
The pram itself the sunshade bit won't stay up
It is not used to accommodate newborns go every it won't recline back to far or to stay in place
It does not keep the sum out of my daughters eyes
It is a pain in the [censored word removed] to fold, I have to take off the seat part to fold an it's just a nuisance to much stuffing around
I was not happy with this product
However I am purchasing a newer better pram that's lighter and easy

Unhappy!!!! – I bought this pram, my son is 2 weeks old and I've already bought a new one. It is the worst pram. The toddler seat doesn't sit flat, the sun visor is STUPID!!! It doesn't even cover the eyes of my newborn. When you put the capsule in. It is so low down and you can't purchase anything to make it go higher. The only positive is that it has good… Read more
wheels. But that's useless if you don't have a good seat. Not happy at all. Good wheels Bad seat that doesn't go flat, very bad sun shield, no capsule attachment to make it higher
I feel like crying – We spent so much money on this pram. I was quite happy with the capsule even though it had very little sun protection but we have just recently transferred our baby to the seat and the sun shade wont even stay up. It just folds up as soon as I start walking. My husband says it must just be a terrible pram but I'm sure this must be faulty! capsule flimsy sun shade that does not stay up

Terrible – No sun shade what so ever from the hood, seat did not lock in properly when changed from laying position to upright, and became very sticky when trying to fold it down, in the end had to put in car still up. Someone really didn't think this one through properly when designing this pram. The only thing I liked about this pram was that it was quite light. Light weight Hood -No shade from sun

Horrible! – I bought this pram back in 2008 for my second born I paid $379 for the pram $280 for the capsule and $180 for the bassinet. And the only good thing was the capsule. folding and the same with the back ones when simply pushing it along. The hood didn't give any shade. So disappointed.
Needs a better sunshade! – I am looking into getting a new pram and my daughter is only 4 months old. The almost nonexistent sunshade is pointless, I would think in a pram this should be a priority a newborn baby should not be so exposed to the sun. My wheels are squeaking already, and the whole pram went to collapse on me the other day. I do like the travel system option… Read more
the capsule is very easy to use and seems comfortable and when used with the pram gives easy access to the large basket. I like that the seat can be facing me and forward facing, the seat lets the pram down big time though. It's not flat enough, looks uncomfortable and again has a pointless sunshade that you have to put a wrap over it which I don't like doing. Good price, capsule option, large basket. No sun protection, squeaky wheels, collapses while in use, doesn't recline enough, uncomfortable

Hmmm – I really wasn't find of this at all! It worked practically but it's lacking in some very important features that would help majorly. Bub is 5 months old now and I've gotten a new pram. The safety harness clip broke randomly, it doesn't fit into the boot of my station wagon, doesn't lay flat and sun shade is short so doesn't shade! Wheels squeak… Read more
badly too. Came with a good rain cover. Bulky, doesn't lay flat, crummy warranty procedures, wheels annoyingly squeak, not much storage under.
Good for the price – After doing a lot of research, I bought this pram a it was the best of the cheap prams... The next best seemed to be the Cruisers big brother, the Strider... At at least $300 more. I paid $200 for this pram... And it does the job. It is great to push, turns on the spot, and no where near as wide as the strider. The basket is huge, and the… Read more
adjustable handle is handy for my tall husband.
We didnt get the capsule, but did get the bassinet attachment (contact Britax direct)... Which was great as the seat doesn't lay anywhere near flat. And it was handy as a portable bed for bubs when visiting people, or as a day bed in the lounge room.
negatives: We had to buy a sheepskin liner as the seat isn't very padded, and a head hugger to hold bubs up a bit in the seat.... And even then he slumps over. The sun shade is poor. It doesn't do anything. Always have to have a blanket over the pram to keep sun out. Finally, the seat has to be turned to forward facing to fold down, which is annoying, and even in a station wagon, it takes up a lot of space.
All in all, for the price, it's a good looking pram, that's nice to push.... But has its flaws. Would I buy it again? Knowing whats atound and how much more other prams are. Those few flaws are quiet annoying... And easily fixed by the manufacturer. Nice to push, turns easily, looks good. Poor sunshade, doesn't fold down much & changing seat to fold.
Not a fan – We brought this pram for our daughter and needless to say we're not a bit happy with it the wheels are extremely squeaky, it doesn't fit in our car boots and it pretty much may aswel not have a sun shade simple because it doesn't come down far enough! The seat doesnt recline far enough and there is no head suport. My daughter is 4months old and… Read more

Love love love this pram! – I bought the basinet attachment because the toddler seat didnt look comfy for a newborn...And i absolutly loved it. I could also used the basinet as a travel cot. and she sat in it fine. Loved being able to have her facing me. So easy to use and and pushes like a dream. I would deffinatly buy this travel system again! Only downfall for me was if it was in the boot nothing else would fit. But that wasnt really a big issue. Easy to use. big basket basinet was a good size. toddler seat comfy, capsule easy to get in and out of car Doesnt fold down very small
Not suitable for people with cars – We cannot fit this pram in our car boot which isn't so bad since we walk to most places. I love the big basket and seems to be comfortable for bub. The seat doesn't go flat which was good for wind pain but not good for new born neck. If had large car would have purchased carrier attachment, maybe for next time. Not a good choice for newborn – I bought this stroller a couple days ago for my newborn. It is not really flat seat, so it seems my baby not feel comfortable seat on it. The sun shade also not cover my baby. Maybe this stroller will be good for bigger baby but not newborn. It is very disappointing for me. looks great, easy to manouvre heavy and bulky, sun shade is just not really useful
Horrible!! – I bought this pram when pregnant with my 1st. it was on sale and cheap.
