Don't waste your time – My kid can't even get any fluid out of this bottle, he's nearly 2 years old. Leaks at the lid.. horrible. Show details

The concept of the straw is good but the rest of the bottle is horrible – The straw is a no spill straw, so it has to be sucked on for the liquid to come out. The bottle is horrible, the silcone on the lid keeps coming off, which results in the bottle leaking. And the straw for inside the bottle constantly separates in two, means thats great for cleaning, just not qhen your little one is trying to drink thw straw comes apart. Ive gone through 4 of these and never again!!!  Show details

Use to love them but new ones are so terrible – We loved these bottles, only annoying part was the bottom straw always falls off. Bought some recently for our second child and they leak allll the time. My mother also bought some and they also leak. I am not sure how they even have them on the shelves still. Such a waste of money. Show details

Horrible, leaky, dysfunctional – Definitely leaks, bottom half of the straw falls out and floats around in the water- who knows how long my sons going without water before I notice or he bring it too me. Waste of money, don’t buy. Show details

Love the product but too complicated for a toddler – We had this bottle for my older child and it was great so I bought another for my 22 month old and have realised it’s actually really difficult to use. He has to bite the straw while sucking; he just can’t understsnd no matter how much I demonstrate. i’ve Given it a 2 star rating as it’s great if your child can figure it out, but probably not great for the 12 month + age group it is marketed to.

Definitely does leak – This cup was great and Didn't leak for the first couple of days now it leaks everywhere. Also the straw keeps popping off the little knob part in the inside, so I'm constantly having to take the lid off and put back together. Super disappointed and will never buy again.

Useless – The straw falls out and floats in the bottle. Child gets NO fluid every time and straw needs to plug into a slot in the lid. USELESS waste of money. Useless and extra straws needed. Useless.

It may not drip, but it's also useless – One can't draw any water from it unless the straw is squeezed... how annoying. The child got very frustrated and discarded it. Size and shape are fine, but unless the child bites the straw, no liquid will come out.... good design? I think not.....after all once the straw is folded in place it doesn't leak.

Great straw, but spilt water sucks! – We were so excited to finally find a cup our daughter would drink from. Other straw cups were too hard for her - we think. Anyway was really disappointed that the lid comes off the bottle way too easily when dropped off the high chair onto the ground. Got so sick of mopping up puddles of water that this one is going in the bin!

Not at all leak proof – Bought two of these bottles, both of them began leaking only a few days after use, leaked from between the cup and the screw on lid. When dropped, the lids came straight off spilling milk or water everywhere. Both bottles were thrown out within a week, wouldn't buy again or recommend.

Leaks everywhere! – I couldn't fault it if it didn't leak! It literally leaks no matter how careful you screw the top on. So you must be careful of slippery messes and spillages in the car especially (no one likes a smelly car!) There are better straw cups on the market than this one.

Leaks all the time – It leaks. Every time I have it my nappy bag, it leaks. It's done up tight but still water gets out. Annoying. I've used it at home & out and about and the same thing happens. Not sure why but it does. Very disappointing as otherwise, really like it. Oh well. Nice size Leaks.

nice straw but not long lasting – My daughter loves drinking from this range of cups, with the soft straw which allows easy flow. I do find that the straw ages quickly in a few ways: over time, a friction develops between the straw and the sliding lid, making it harder to open; the hole in the top of the straw gets bigger - silicon material tears - under normal use. This cup was… Read more

found leaking in my bag a few times when it tipped sideways, when all it had was cold water.

Bottom of cup was hard to reach by brush or hand when cleaning. Straw parts are reasonably easy to clean with straw brushes. The type of plastic the bottle is made of tends to hold onto detergent smell, so even if it is dishwasher safe, I wouldn't wash it in the dishwasher unless necessary as the smell of detergent lasts for weeks. easy to drink from, easy to keep dust out cheap material, ages quickly, leaky, gets hard to open the flip-straw over time

Great - until the straw gets destroyed by your child's teeth – I thought these were terrific bottles when I first bought them. They are a nice shape, great colours, and were the only thing my son could successfully drink from when he was younger (he hated sippy cups/spouts). He could also easily flip the top open himself to drink. I found that they weren't totally leak proof, even when new. However, after a… Read more

few months of use, the straws were totally destroyed by my son's teeth.

The soft silicone was just too inviting for his chompers! This wouldn't be a problem if replacement straws could be purchased, but as other reviewers have said, these are impossible to track down. Consequently, both bottles we owned had to be thrown out even though the bottle and lid were still in great condition. I've since replaced these with the Skip Hop brand which has a more sturdy straw and comes with a replacement straw. (Nb. This review is meant for the Nuby Flip-it, not the mega Flip-it.) Colour, style, inexpensive, holds up well in dishwasher. Straws easily destroyed, no replacement straws therefore not environmentally friendly, not entirely leak-proof, slightly too wide for some cup holders.

Best sippy cup on the market! – I have tried so many so called non spill sippy cups. Most either cannot b drunk out of (even I had trouble!) or the non spill component has to b removed to allow drinking and then of course they leak. This cup doesn't leak AND it is easy for little ones to drink from. And while the other nuby cups are great, I find the straw one much easier to… Read more ·  1

use and my toddler prefers it. Doesnt leak, easy to drink from, dishwasher safe so easy to clean. Also like the fold down spout cover to keep it clean between uses and no lid to lose!

Good "non-spill" straw cup – This is a good non-spill straw cup for little ones, though it does spill some water out of the top on occasion. I started using this cup for my daughter when she was about seven months old and she learnt to use it just fine. I've tried all types of liquids in there including smoothies. Be warned that anything other than water is a pain to clean out of this straw. Pretty much non spill. Easy to use Pain to clean. Too many parts

Actually works – I've had trouble with a few other brands, constructing them or them leaking. So I bought a couple of these and chucked the rest out. If you leave milk in there too long it can stick to the inside of the straw- solution? Use a chopstick to clean it, works wonders! Once I lost one of the pieces of straw, but I kept the straws from the badly designed… Read more

ones for just this purpose- it fitted nicely.

I've recommended this brand to the twitterverse. Me and my toddler can easily use it. Milk can stick to the inside of the straw, but that's the same for any brand.

Great cup for little people – This cup doesn't spill and it stands up fairly well without toppling over. It is colourful and easy to wash. It also suits a wide age range. My toddler loves it. I love that I don't have spills to clean p. I also like that it doesn't look too babyish. good quality and value for money

sippy cups by nubby are great no drips no leaking – I am very happy to have found the nubby brand of sippy cups I use them at home and when I go to shops. My 2 year old throws drinks and there is no mess to clean up it saves me so much time. It does not leak  Show reply

Good – I bought a few of these on special which made it really economical. I love the bright colours and they are pretty easy to clean and keep clean. They rarely come undone in a handbag and even if they do, you have the advantage of the non-drip straw so you don't get leaks. My child never had a problem working out the straw but some of my… Read more

friend's children did. Lovely colours, fairly easy to clean, easy for most babies to use, water tight and fairly well-priced Some parents have reported problems with their child using it as it requires them to squeeze the straw before water/liquid comes out.

Good – I have had quite a bit of experience with these drink containers. It was the first container that my son used from an early age (before the recommened age on the bottle). He learnt how to suck from a straw easily. He is now using a stainless steel bottle for water during the day but has one of these bottles behind his pillow for night time. Again… Read more

great bottles apart from not having replacement straws. Having said that though the straws can last several months. Easy to grip. No spill. Look good. Can be put in dishwasher top shelf. If you could get replacement straws for this item it would be a winner. The straws are difficult to clean (I normally use a cotton bud) and after a while they tend to tear (which wouldn't be a problem if you could replace the straw). I have about 6 in the cupboard now but no straws for them. I feel this is a bit of a waste and not environmentally friendly. I have used these ones with a normal straw for dinner time but of course not spill proof.

Good – I have tried about 4 different straw training cups, and this one is my favourite. All of the others leaked to some extent, one i had to keep in a plastic bag if i was going out anywhere because it would leak all through my nappy bag. I love the colours (we have a purple one) and the design is awesome, my daughter can easily hold it without it… Read more

slipping. My favourite thing with this cup is that it doesnt leak! Lots of training cups claim they dont leak, but they do. I also like the design because it is easy for my 14 month old to hold. Straw doesnt quite reach the bottom and the flip down bit for the straw doesnt clip in.

Good – I wanted to get my son off bottles, he is now 16months, I tried giving him cups but he just poured it down his front so i thought this would be the next best thing. I love that they are non spill, my son knows how to open and shut himself I think these are such cool bottles, you can mix and match colours and they are easy to hold onto. Great idea… Read more

I havent had any problems so far, though i dont like that there are so many parts, annoying to clean. I tjought they were also quite expensive, was hesitant to buy.

Good – Great bottle for travel or at home. If the bottle gets knocked over the straw doesn't touch the floor/ground. Also applies when dropped from a stroller. My baby is able to hold the bottle with one hand around the thinner section, leaving the other hand free for a toy or food. Doesn't leak, easy for baby to handle. Like how the straw folds inside… Read more

the lid and stays clean. Can't find replacement straws. The straw is a little fragile, first bottle the straw ripped along the opening within 2 weeks. The baby needs to understand how to drink from a straw - not a major issue and my baby learnt how to do this in about 20 minutes.

Good – My son loves these and has used them from 6 months until now 2 years. They are great for keeping in the car and using at night. Just be careful opening them on the plane or on a very hot day with cold water as the sometimes spurt water everywhere. No-spill design with the flip top that my son could operate from 10months. Large and smaller sizes… Read more

available. Great range of colours. Easy to clean. Very tough plastic Couldn't find the replacement parts so had to throw a couple out. The straws can start to leak if chewed on. Also leak in extreme pressure and temperature difference.

OK – This is a Pretty good product. I probably wouldn't recommend to others as I couldn't find the repalcement parts (ie straw) for the unit. If these were available I would highly recommend this product. cThis drinker omes in a range of colours and look really cool with its flip lid. Doesn't leak and the flip lid keeps things kid of clean. Price… Read more

wasn't too bad compared to other drinkers on the market. I couldn't find the replacement parts for it which meant that I had to throw the whole thing out. The straw is very easy to chew.

Good – We love these, and so does our son. They don't look like a traditional 'toddler' cup so our second youngest doesn't feel he's being a baby using one, it's like the older kids drinkbottles! Delivers what it proises, these don't leak at all! Our toddler loves them and has several, all in different colours so they're very easy to keep track of… Read more

Bright, cheery and the design means it's easy for the kids to keep a grip where the bottle moulds in in the middle. Has the look of a drink bottle so wasn't too 'babyish' for our son! All parts can get replacement sections purchased, which is handy for loss or damage!

OK – I really like these bottles when they are new, but unless replacement straws are available I won't buy another one, simply because the straw is too easy to chew. We would need to replace them every month. When new doesn't leak at all. Easty to open for little hands. As our son chews the straws they don't last much longer than a few weeks. The… Read more

OK – We cannot seem to find replacement straws here in NZ any longer, as our straws are so badly chewed they now leak really badly. They are great to look at and work fine for a couple of months The straw is totally chewable. My son has eaten through 3 of them

Good – This is one of the better straw cups we've used (and we've used dozens!). The straw is difficult to clean but I've managed to get hold of a straw cleaner to help with this, otherwise mould builds up in the straw very quickly. OK – its a very nice looking cup and the basic design is clever but the fact that it spurts out the liquid makes it another one on the 'tried it once, not trying it again' category. has a fantastic flip lid so you can close it up and not worry about leaking in the bag,the sta=raw is very very durable and chew resistand and the spill proof valve is under… Read more

the lid so little teeth cant split the valve (a problem we had with virtually every other sippy cup)it comes in a nice selection of colours and is affordable in cost although we finally found a sippy cup that doesnt have the water proof valve easily accessable to little teeth, the cup sometimes has a pressure build up behind the straw .sometimes when our little one will pick it up for a drink the whole straw will be filled with water with built up pressure behind it and it will spray all over her! a few of our friends have had the same problem, not very nice for the poor little one.

Good – These are probably the best toddler cups i've tested with my daughter. They come in a range of funky colours, with a handy flip top which toddlers will find easy enough to flip over to reach the straw and makes it great for carrying it about in a bag without having to worry about it leaking over everything . This is a non-spill bottle, which is… Read more

fantastic as toddlers tend to leave their bottles lying around everywhere and most of these leak and leave a mess on the floor.

I do find them difficult to clean. Particulary in the straw. They tend to build up with muck and can be difficult to get anything into the straw to give them a good clean. I suggest replacing them every couple of months when they start to get too much buildup to keep them clean and bacteria free. Reasonably priced as far as toddler cups go. Brightly coloured, non-spill, easy to grasp drink bottles for little ones. Idea for home and out and about, due to it's flip lid for easy sealing. The straw can be difficult to clean and can get buildup within the straw which is hard to reach for cleaning.
