Excellent for 15 years – Purchased February 2007. Worked perfectly until early 2023 when it stopped drying sometimes. Today it left dishwasher powder residue on plates, so time for a new one. Don't understand the bad reviews because we've had excellent service from it for 15 years. Show details
A poor quality product. Not reliable and hard to use – We bought our unit with one of these Electrolux dishwashers already installed. I did not know how old it was at that time but it looked new. We found it difficult to operate, not intuitive at all. It did a reasonable job of cleaning the dishes, but was quite noisy. We traded it in after it stopped and would not shift digits on the digital display.… Read more
Most frustrating to say the least. The repair man said they were not a reliable machine, and there was a inherent fault with them that he could fix for about $300. By then we had had enough of it and traded it for another brand.

Works well, and cannot do without it, sad it has discontinued – It cleans well and drys the dishes well, make a little noise. Cleans and washes well and dry's well. Has lasted for 12 years and does a good job. It has been a faithful dishwasher and will miss it once it has served me well and of no use. Love it! Show details
9 Years old and just stopped heating – We have had this dishwasher from new and have thrashed it constantly with a large family. It has just stopped heating. Besides having to clean it on a regular basis it's been a good reliable machine. 9 year is a pretty good run so it's time for a replacement. Ex employee 2005
not heating – same problem as every one else no hot water in the dishwasher never had a problem till now but cant believe how many people have the same problem Show 2 replies

Unsatisfactory performance – We bought the house with this Electrolux Dishwasher already installed new. It went ok for about 3 years then stopped. The control panel just kept beeping we tried everthing that we could to fix it but eventually the repair man said it needed a new control panel, $300-400 to repair, took it to the tip. Very unsatisfactory product. I will never buy Electrolux Dishwasher again. Show details
Very frustrated – While we have had the dishwasher for a while, it hasn't had heavy duty operating conditions. Now it won't heat the water in the wash or drying cycle, leaving cutlery still dirty. Now forced to hand wash and dry. Initially found that the short 30 min cycle at least warmed the wash water, but that has now failed. Will not be looking at Electrolux as a replacement.
Dogs lick dishes cleaner – One of my favourite features are that this "dishwasher" is unable to wash dishes. Never cleans dishes. Dishes are never dry. Not heating. Should have been recalled / never been released for sale. Waste of money. Waste of useful kitchen space. Always washing dishes manually afterwards, waste of water. Please do not buy this product. You will forever regret it for all eternity.

14 years and a good job done – Dont know what youre all bitching about, i bought mine in 2006 and its just finally bit the dust. Its stopped heating the water and leaving soap on the dishes. Rather than fix it up spending money on an old one, we are buying another dishlex Show details
I have fixed many of these dishwashers over the years – My friends you have not seen the other crap that is on the market.fair enough they have this problem with the heater circuit on the main pcb which can be overcome simply by fitting a load relay in the heat circuit to take the load off the pcb which I have done with my dx302.
Seams like they haven't fix the main board for years – Sorry to here I am not the only one with heating issues I know that it's not the element at least quite expensive to repair I bought all Electrolux kitchen appliances just because Australian but the service is not as it was tried send email to get info but no reply got cook top oven range hood and dish washer
Absolute Crap - Should have an option for zero stars – We had WB302WB for a few years and the heating stopped. We had Dishlex come out and charged $400 for a new mother board. Soon after, the new mother board blew again. After googling the same problem so many people have had, I opened took out the motherboard, found exactly the same problem as before. I re-soldered the one solder joint that was black… Read more
from blowing, and it has been working for the last 3 years. Absolutely disgusting that there had been no free recall for the mother board, as it s a common problem caused by the bad design of the mother board.. Now it's leaking from underneath and wrecking the new kitchen. Never ever buying Dishlex again.
Constant fail – Spent an hour trying to fund a manual for this machine without success. Even searching "manual" under "dishlex" received no results!!! Our machine has the same problems as many of the other contributors. Not heating properly, not drying, etc etc. Based on reviews here and cost of a service call I will be going to Appliances Online and ordering a… Read more
new dishwasher immediately and it WILL NOT be an Electrolux. Their so called customer response exhibited here is obviously just a sham. Do they really think people are that stupid that they use made up names?

Dishes still dirty and wet – our first Electrolux dishwasher and probably the last - stick to vacuum cleaners! Dishes are still dirty, tablets won't melt because there is no heat in the water and everything has to be redone by hand. The service guy has indicated probably cheaper to replace the entire machine.. Which we will do!

Poor quality diswasher and even worst customer service – Moved into a new property with a newly renovated kitchen. Little did we know that the appliances had still not been plumbed. Had a plumber connect the unused Dishlex DX302 dishwaser. Worked ok for the first couple of month, the dishes weren't always dry however came out fairly clean. Within four months the dishwasher stopped heating, washing… Read more
tablets wouldn't dissolve and obviously dishes came out dirty. Contacted Dishlex customer service to find out that our 4 month old dishwasher was not under warranty due to the house we bought having a newly renovated kitchen and not a completely new build. We were told it would cost $300 + for a call out and parts. Your hard earned money is better spent on other brands names with better quality builds and better customer service and support. You've lost me Electrolux/Dishlex.

Worth more as scrap metal – Fails to heat water and dry dishes. Added to that every so often it leaks from the bottom front. Leaving the dishes out in the rain gets them cleaned better than this electrolux dishwasher. Time to find a REAL brand that makes dishwashers ! There should have been a product recall given the commmon fault with this model.
disapointing performance – Machine didn't heat water and of course nothing was dried. Mechanic reported it as a common problem. It was repaired but we were not told it may only have a life of another 3 years. Reading these comments I can see we are not alone. Dishes do not come clean on their own either without prerinsing. I would not recommend or replace with another Electrolux. This machine is not a patch on my previous Dishlex.
Power switch melted, doesn't wash properly – The power switch stopped working. Seems like it has internally melted due to electrical arcing and/or high current draw, perhaps during heating cycles. Given this seems to be a common problem others have experienced I'm surprised there hasn't been a recall. Even before it melted it was still terrible at getting the dishes clean. We've given up and… Read more
gone back to hand washing.
Why are Electrolux hassling everyone who posts here to contact customer service? Perhaps "sorry we made a crap product" would be a more appropriate starting point when engaging with unhappy customers?

NOT HAPPY ELECTROLUX – Same complaint as everyone else. Water doesn't heat and dishes are not cleaned properly nor do they dry. We tried the soldering tip to no avail. We were prepared to replace the mother board but after reading so many complaints for the same problem there is NO WAY we are prepared to spend any more money chasing a reoccurring problem. NOT GOOD ENOUGH electrolux you have lost us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Control board useless - does not heat water or dry dishes – Although our dishwasher still looks in perfect condition it does not work & the control board (PCB) is broken, a very common problem. It does not heat the water or dry the dishes, the technician tried to re-solder the connections but it didn't work, cost to replace control board was $360+ & they last on average approx. 3years, we were lucky to… Read more
have got 6years, but were hoping for 10. It would be great if Electrolux would redesign this faulty product. Have now bought a Miele & it will hopefully last a lot longer.
Another heating issue with the Electrolux DX302 – Our DX302 has stopped heating and going by the threads of other owners having the same problem a serious design issue is in question. If there is a Lawyer out there willing to take a class action case against Electrolux (no win no pay :-) )I will put my name down! As for the dishwasher - heading for the tip and I will not buy another Electrolux Product.

All I Want is Clean Dishes – You wouldn't think that this was too much to ask, I mean, even the really cheap brands of dishwashers do exactly that - wash dishes. Electrolux is NOT a cheap brand .... well not in price anyway. We thought that Electrolux was a great brand to buy; a safe brand; a reliable brand. Boy were we wrong!! Not long out of warranty and our dishwasher… Read more
stopped washing and drying dishes effectively, probably because the machine would wash cold. Now my husband, an electrician, has done all that he can to revive this near useless appliance that sits in our kitchen. He has replaced the mother board twice, with little change in the machine's functioning. In desperation, we have even tried to plumb it straight into the hot water system. We really should have read more reviews before we bought this appliance.
We will never again buy an Electrolux appliance or any other appliance that is sold under the mother company. We will never again recommend Electrolux to other people as a reliable brand to buy. Shame on you Electrolux! You should have offered every single person on this site a replacement dishwasher (that actually works) for all the wasted money they have put in your pocket purchasing and repairing these appliances. On that note, has anyone actually contacted the ACC regarding this issue? This appliance was obviously manufactured with a fault and under consumer law, are we not entitled to our money back or a replacement product?

Best dishwasher ever i think others have just been unlucky – I have never reviewed anything before and i think people only tend to review when something is bad but this machine is great. I'm a chef and have owned 5 dishwashers personally through different houses and this one is gold. does a 30 mins what they call quick wash but it's like a pot scrub wash and the only one i use you don't need to use anything… Read more
else, dishes are done in 30 mins! need to use powerball or fairy tablets though powder doesn't work as well. it's quiet and looks nice too
The heating issue - and they're going to charge me $135 just for a callout – Same as everyone else - machine has stopped heating after about 6 years of okay-ish operation. I called Electrolux customer service and they said they have no record of anything being wrong with this model, and that they can send a service person out but it will cost me $135 just for the service person to attend, then an hourly additional rate for… Read more
their labour, then parts on top! This is disgusting, given the high volume of identical complaints about this issue. Electrolux should be saying "Oh, the DX302? Yes, there's a known issue with that model, our apologies, we'll send a service person out at our cost to confirm the problem, then issue you with a full refund/exchange/whatever." If this response is indicative of Electrolux's level of customer service when they produce a faulty product, then I'll certainly be replacing this dishwasher with a DIFFERENT brand.

Broken down....AGAIN!!!!! – After replacing the mother board at over half the cost of a new machine, once again my Dishlex DX 302 has stopped AGAIN. fault i60 of anyone can help. Refuse to spend more money on this thing. Well be going for a more reliable machine this time.

Big problems! – Our dishwasher is not particularly old and we have experienced lots of problems. We are still unable to use it as it does not heat the water in order to clean and it does not dry. Very disapointing!

Another disastrous product – We had the unit fixed under warranty a few years ago. All the wiring had to be replaced. Now the heating is not working. The circuit board has a scorch mark and after re soldering still doesn't work. By searching this product I now see why this unit has been discontinued! This should have been recalled. ...Electrolux should be ashamed of the… Read more · 1
amount of comments for the same issue. Ok the unit is out of warranty, even if I have this fixed at how many lives could I be putting at risk? Could be just a ticking time bomb. .... please note I did not want to put a star rating as its far from deserving one, however could not submit. With persistence I tried to give one star ending in a result of all....
heating cycle – persistent breakdown on heat cycle now stops several times during cycle always the part main control board has been repaired several times, this is not what i wanted.

No heating like everyone else! – Just average dishwasher, with patchy reliability and now has ceased heating the water. I assume like everyone else it is the control board. Probably not skilled enough to fix it myself so new will have to save for another dishwasher. I don't think it will be an Electrolux!

Dishlex not heating water - burnt relay connection on control board – Followed Carl's comments/instructions on similar model - exactly as he explained the relay had a burnt connection on the control board at one terminal. Resoldered and dishwasher heats and works perfectly again. Front panel does become very hot after a cycle so assume overheating is the basic problem. Must be an easy fix on the design side.

4 x breakdowns in 6 years – So why did I give it 5 stars? Twice stopped completely , thankfully an error code is displayed on the LED panel. Checked on the web forum, it indicates a drainage blockage, unblock the outlet pipe... Fixed. The door was leaking badly, soaking the floor,.... Dirty seal. Cleaned with vaseline, fixed . Now the big one, the water heater was… Read more
intermittently not heating, best quote was $380 to fix,... So I fixed it for free myself. How? Originally a cold water fill and self heating, ... I simply plumbed it to the hot water supply, it works better than ever. Just need to run the hot tap to make sure the initial cold water is expelled. Easy to fix
Has been great – Had one of these in our old house and never let us down in 2 years so put one in our new house and its been great too only 1/12 years old now.The only gripe i would have is the drying option doesn't work that great but i just open the door when cycle has finished and on nice warm days it doesn't take long for them to be properly dry.But on cold… Read more · 1
days still have to wipe them properly dry with tea towel. Low water usage on quick cycle, couldn't hand wash using only 9-11ltrs Auto drying cycle not that great.
Great machine and I used to have a Bosch ! – Previous houses we had a Bosch and then we came to this one and it had an Electrolux Dishlex. The dishwasher is 7 years old and works perfectly, dishes are dry (found out initially they weren't but have selected "boosted drying"). The manual suggests to not use tablets on an Eco Cycle however I have and the dishes come out nice and clean. Quiet,… Read more · 1
Efficient, Can use tablets on eco cycle Control Board needed replacing after exactly 7 years but apart from that all other components still work perfectly, steel picks up fingerprint marks
Fantastic – Had this machine for over 15 years, never failed. Dishes always clean. Brilliant machine. Show reply
