Some people mentioned in a couple reviews that it tore up the users face. While the soap is extremely coarse due to the pumice, a light handed circular motion for application will suffice. If I scrubbed with a heavy hand, my face would most definitely be torn up. Find out the pressure that works for your face.
I am looking for an every day face cleanser by them which does not contain Salicylic Acid. Due to the fact this scrub does not contain Salicylic Acid, is my reasoning behind why the product works so well.

Incomparable cleanser – I have been using 1006 since 1960 and there is no other cleanser to compare. It is impossible for me to obtain here in Perth Australia and i was so surprised to find a reference to it when i was checking on my recent review.

And just a word of advice but foaming cleansers are best suited for oily skin types
Everybody's skin is different and different skin types need a different type of cleanser, if someone uses a foaming cleanser on a non oily skin type they'll likely end up drying their skin out because foaming cleansers are specifically meant for the oily skin type
And everyone's skin reacts differently to products even when you're using the correct products for your skintype
