I have had overall good experience with Temu -- a quick delivery and reasonable prices for the quality. They seem to have put into practice a new policy though, where you can't

just buy one or two products, you have to have $50 worth of items before being able to check out. This can lead to buying things that are not needed, so under these conditions, I will probably not be buying any more items from them. My last order of 8 items came quickly, but was only shipped in a plastic bag. This caused two of the items to arrive damaged. When I contacted them about the flimsy packaging and damaged items, they very promptly refunded the cost of these two items without requiring their return. So I was please with that.

  Dragonfly

Seemingly incompetent, dishonest and uncaring – Dragonfly gave me three reasons why they couldn't deliver my package -- all invalid. (1) "We attempted to deliver your package today but no one answered." -- we were at home and

no one came near. (2) "Unfortunately, we couldn't make it in time to deliver your package today." -- apparently they attempted delivery at 4:45 pm, so this contradicts. (3) Per follow-up phone call re attempted delivery: "The driver couldn’t find the house number" -- This is within a retirement village?! -- that sounds as incompetent at best. I was then given a promise to re-deliver the next day, but that hasn’t happened and there was an indefinite time of delivery per their website message: "Your package is being prepared for delivery! Hang tight! We're preparing your shipment from your local station in . We'll let you know when it's out for delivery with our driver."

This was all very disappointing and frustrating especially since I paid extra postage for express delivery. I had a hard time recontacting Dragonfly -- their phone would cut off several times before getting connected to a staff person. So I contacted Amazon and they were marvelous -- they appreciated my feedback re Dragonfly, immediately issued a refund for the merchandise, and suggested I re-order and they would use a different courier. After reading the reviews here about Dragonfly, I decided not to take any chances in waiting for the delivery through them and asked them to return the item to Amazon. Then I went ahead and re-ordered, with hopefully better success at getting the item delivered safely and in a timely manner.

Problem Satisfactorily Resolved – A year ago, we bought at FortyWinks, Capalaba, a MySide Gen7 mattress, together with other bedroom furniture. Based on their BedMatch system and trying the mattress out in the

store, we had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, however, after only ten months, the new mattress had become very soft and felt almost like sleeping in a hammock — especially for me. It was not giving me the needed support that its description had promised and was quite uncomfortable. In the end, the mattress was causing back and hip pain that lasted throughout the day. To our disappointment, we learned that the 10-year factory warranty only applied if something was wrong with the mattress as far as the manufacturer was concerned.

We were pleased when the Forty Winks store owner, Jeet, first came himself and subsequently quickly arranged for a company representative to come to our home to determine whether there was something wrong with the mattress that would be covered under the Warranty. The outcome was that it was fine and functioning as it was intended. So, no recourse there. However, based on the customer satisfaction guarantee on the part of the Forty Winks, Jeet went out of his way to help us and make sure we were satisfied. The happy outcome is that we now have a different make mattress for the price of what it would have taken to change the MySide mattress to a firmer version. The new King Koil mattress, having been already in the warehouse, was delivered the same day. We believe that it will serve us much better. We are also buying an adjustable base to be delivered next week. So, while we were initially discouraged with our purchase, we are now very happy with the service received by Jeet at Forty Winks, Capalaba.

  Vistaprint

Excellent customer service – We have been ordering from Vistaprint on and off for a decade or more. Other than high quality products, they also provide an excellent customer service. Our last order was a

custom-made shirt with a photo on the front. It didn't arrive by the estimated date nor a few days later. When I inquired about the status of the order, since there was no tracking number and the company couldn't determine the shipment's whereabouts, they simply re-submitted the order, in case the original was lost. I was very impressed by that level of service.

  Froothie

Served us for 9 years! – This review is long, long overdue! But, today, I felt compelled to write. It was nine years ago, in late 2012, that we first ordered our Froothie juicer – Model Optimum 9200. As

we recall, Froothie had not been long on the market – and we were dealing with a young couple in Melbourne, who served us graciously back then, answering all our emails.

Well, now looking back after nine years, we can only sincerely praise the Optimum 9200 juicer/blender.

Having been health conscious throughout our marriage, my wife (Eva) has used the Optimum 9200 daily – and twice daily fairly often. These days, she makes a green smoothie (with fresh vegetables and nuts etc.) in the morning, and then a fruit smoothie later in the afternoon.

Throughout these last nine years, the Optimum 9200 has performed reliably – not once have we had any problems. It has been a wonderful, trustworthy machine. What a delight it is to have such a dependable machine in the kitchen.

As far as the smoothies that Eva makes daily, “the proof is in the pudding”. Each smoothie that she has ever made has simply been delicious. If you gave me a choice between a fine wine, or one of Eva’s freshly made fruit smoothies, I would choose Eva’s smoothie every time!

This morning, coincidentally on Valentine’s Day, while checking on the possibility of purchasing a new jug for our old machine, we unexpectedly discovered a special sale on the Optimum 9200A model. We called Customer Service in Melbourne – Chris took our call – and received the same top-quality service that we remembered from almost ten years ago. Chris answered all our questions in a kind and friendly manner – we did not feel rushed for a moment.

As we end this review, and our chapter with the Optimum 9200 model, we’re looking forward to a new chapter with the Optimum 9200A machine.
