Verified Rail Ninja Very easy to use service which, in the past, has proved to be very reliable. My only frustration was that the service would only allow me to book journeys between major cities… and, for one journey, I only wanted to go to an intermediary station. This was not possible with Rail Ninja and, unfortunately, I had to use another less satisfactory service. |

Remington Travel Dryer D2925AU Not recommended at all – I have had 3 of these hairdryers in as many years because each of them has failed after a few months of regular use. The first blew up with a loud and frightening bang; the… second started to smoke; and the third is now only giving me a warm, not hot, drying temperature (and so, presumably, one of the heating elements has died). This product is, quite frankly, a lemon. Although it is still under warranty I will be buying another brand in future. |

Weber Q Premium Easy, foolproof roasting and BBQing – I used to dread cooking roasts but now, with my Weber Q 2200, the results are consistently good. I've cooked legs of lamb, racks of lamb, butterflied lamb and chicken drumsticks… and, by following the product's instructions, all have turned out just right. What I really love is that the Weber method is largely "set and forget". No constant checking, turning and basting. The same applies to BBQing. Steaks, in particular, are out of this world and the Weber method is largely foolproof. No more charred meat! I've also tried cooking pizzas in the Weber and they've turned out well too. However, it is very important to follow the instructions that are outlined in the DVD and booklet and to bear in mind that environmental conditions can influence the cooking time. My husband took a while to get used to the "lid down" Weber method but he is now an enthusiastic convert. |

Marcato Atlas 150 Fabulous little machine - simple, effective and inexpensive – I first came across this pasta machine while doing a course on making fresh pasta with Pizzini Wines' "A Tavola" cooking school in the King Valley, Victoria. I was impressed with… how easy it was to use and how well it produced fresh pasta. So much so, I bought my own machine and it has certainly lived up to my expectations. It's also easy to clean - just a quick wipe with a damp cloth - and it looks good. Unlike one earlier reviewer, I haven't had any problems with the fully metal handle and, I'm sure, if this was a widespread problem a cooking school would not be using it regularly with students. |

Breville Toast & Melt BSG540 Lunches have never been better! – We love our Breville Sandwich Maker, which we've owned for 2 months, and use it almost every day to create first-rate toasted sandwiches. Although there are only two of us, we… chose the 4-slice version to give us more flexibility with bread types and sizes. It was a good choice. The machine toasts our sandwiches evenly and quickly and, having flat, non-stick heating surfaces, is incredibly easy to clean. All it takes is a quick wipe with a damp cloth. The only down-side is that you have to remember to turn the machine off at the powerpoint immediately after use. There is no automatic cut-off once the lid is lifted. |
