Zero effort to made to deal with complaint. Customers abandoned in airport for 22 hours – Qatar shortened the connection between flights from Manchester to Adelaide, which meant when the original flight was delayed the connection was missed. Passengers were then made

to wait a couple of hours. A few passengers with the UK NHS covid app were allowed to go to a hotel, whilst everyone else was basically abandoned in the airport until an onward flight to Melbourne then Adelaide 22 hours later. All passengers were vaccinated exactly the same, Qatar airways did nothing to assist us. They have now ignored complaint emails for over a month, which seems to be standard practice for them. A business that happily lies to customers and expects them to disappear when owed $1100 – I cancelled due to covid, accepting half the money for my international flights back and claiming the rest through insurance. “We are pleased to advise you that your refund has

been processed and credited to the same payment method used during the booking.....should appear in your account within 15 days.” 6 months later, I am messaging every few weeks to chase this money.

Note: They NEVER contact me with an update, I either have to call or wait through their online message system for an hour.

The latest message from them is that the airline has refused the refund. They will chase it up personally. I am tired of being lied to. I want my refund and to never use this business again. The insurer paid up the other half in under two weeks. I am out of pocket due to this deceitful business.
