Verified The Iconic Won’t be shopping here again unfortunately – I ordered a pair of $150 sneakers from the iconic. They arrived and were far too big. I initiated the return of the shoes and between working full time, caring for a one year old… and being in a pandemic my 30 day rerun lapsed. I emailed the iconic 2 days after the lapse asking if I could still send them back, I was willing to pay returns and accept a store credit instead of a refund. I thought that was reasonable to take a loss as I was over the free return period. Instead I was told they won’t accept the return at all. Apparently their policy (which they’ve not been able to specifically direct me to) states they don’t accept returns at all after 30 days. The only policy I can see says you have 30 days for free return. After shopping with the Iconic for years and only having great experiences I am really disappointed their service is such a let down! I’m now left with $150 shoes that are too big. 30 days free returns now feels like a great gimmick and an easy way out of accepting returns. Wishing I had just sent the shoes when I realised I was 2 days over the return limit! |

Sunbeam Aviva PE6100 Great unless you want to pressure cook – I was given this for Christmas in 2017, and ever since it was brand new have always found it almost impossible to use the pressure function. All other cooking functions are great… to use but I constantly find myself wasting 10-20 minutes trying to get the pressure to build through the finiky seals that leave too much room for human error. The valve on too doesn't seem to lock into place properly at all so you have to guess if it's in the right position to hold pressure. The machine is also very difficult to clean with too many nooks and crannies that are impossible to get to. I often use a straw cleaner to clean around the machine and it still isn't efficient. Disappointing overall, would only recommend if you never wanted to use the pressure function and you don't mind it never being clean properly... |

Glem GDW24SSE Unreliable and inconsistent – This dishwasher was bought brand new in the house I rent and it has been disappointing from day 1. To begin with, our dinner plates didn't fit in the drawer, one I adjusted the… rack our plates fit (regular size plates) but the glass section is now too short for any tall drinking glasses and wine glasses. The cutlery drawer also seems to sometimes catch on our regular size desert spoons, because the space is so shallow. The machine only seems to wash properly on the intensive cycle which seems to take 2-3 hours which is crazy. I just tried the quick cycle for the first time (about 25 minutes) as soon as I opened the dishwasher I could see dishes were still dirty and there was food debris on the door, this was not a particularly dirty load either. Like others have mentioned I have trialled different brands of tablets with no change in the result and most recently tablets will still be half intact on the base of the machine after an intensive cycle. We always scrape food scraps of dishes before they go in the machine and we rinse anything with lots of sauce or anything sticky on it. This dishwasher is not worth the cheap price tag, I won't be looking to buy from this brand again. |

Optus Mobile Never ending trouble – I have a phone plan and NBN with Optus and once I cancel both these I will never go back. Both my services had to be ordered online although I had to call every day to have… the orders processed. I never heard anything about my internet so I called and was told the order had expired because it hadn't been processed by Optus. Then 2 weeks later (1 month after ordering) I received a modem and was connected to the internet. No email, no notification nothing until I got my first bill. Which was incorrect, I connected Optus saying my bill was incorrect as my phone plan qualified me for a $20 discount. I had to repeat myself and explain to customer service why I get a discount and after around 20 minutes they finally got it. I paid my bill of $100 then a day later had an additional $120 taken from my account. I never set up direct debit for that amount. My internet speed also maxes 5mbps download when the plan is for up to 12. An Optus tech told me it should be at least 9, and I just need to contact customer service to receive compensation. Of course when I called I was told it was UP to 12mbps and they saw that we had been using the service so they were not willing to give a discount. I am so fed up, I'd love to bill optus for my time. I would not recommend them to anyone ever and in future I will pay more to actually receive the service I want. |
