Suncorp Branches Dropped money in the branch and still trying to get it back! – I went to their atm at the Aspley branch. As it only gave $50 notes I went to the counter to get some smaller notes. I have done this at every other bank locally, but Suncorp… said unless I showed them I was a customer of Suncorp they wouldn't give me change. I waited 5 minutes while 2 people at the counter served one person to be told they were a bank but couldnt give me change when I just used their atm and they received charges for it. I left and dropped $100. I had to go to work and didnt notice the loss until half an hr later. My daughter went in with ID and Suncorp confirmed I had dropped it there, they were given my phone contact, and they said I had to go back, she said I would when I had time off work. I went back a week later as I hadnt heard from them and I was my first day off. With my daughter and her 1 yr old baby they made us wait 22 minutes. They said it had been sent to another branch and they would have to phone back to see what I could do get my own money back. Another wait. They then called and said I have to get my bank to arrange my cash to be transferred to my bank account. UNBELIEVABLE. How much longer should I spend trying to discuss this with my bank? I will see if I can open an account with suncorp have my money deposited, take it out and then close the account. I bet they will charge fees for this!!! Confirming: your cash is NOT safe with Suncorp - I have removed them from all car registrations CTP insurance. |

Factory Buys Buy elsewhere unless you want to keep overpriced junk they will make you pay to dump – I purchased a Queen mattress for my daughter. I thought new would be best because she was expecting. The mattress springs are extremely bad, there is no support in several… places. The 'service' from Factory Buys was awful. It is very hard to get photos showing the issue and needs two people, when I send these through there was a lot of time to get an answer that they would credit me and allow me to purchase another mattress (pay the difference if it was more expensive). I confirmed what I read, I asked on chat. Yes we are offering both that is correct. Wasted time choosing the best mattress I could all the while asking for the refund. Of course they changed their mind. They want me to buy ANOTHER mattress off them even though the first was the worst new mattress I have ever bought, AND pay for a man to dump the faulty one (the cost of delivery and dumping is over $100). Why should I have to pay to dump their faulty mattress? Why offer a credit and the same towards another one and then change your mind? I have wasted another ten days and lots of time, meanwhile my 8 month pregnant daughter has a useless mattress. Who would EVER buy from them again. All they are doing (supposedly) is refunding me the original price and a lot of that is going on dumping their faulty product. |

MoneyPlace Not as great as I expected – It was ok. I got a pre-approval and had all my documents sent through so approval would be fast, but it took about 9 days after this. There were mistakes with my name and… income. I was provided a good rate but once I signed everything it increased as they only then suggested an unsecured loan to make it quicker!! It would have been nice to be told everything at the beginning including the extra charges to set account up. They did reduce the fees once I mentioned it, but I feel $800-900 in fees for a $5500 loan is too high (not including the interest). They were quick at sending the email to confirm that interest is only charged on time loan is open and no early exit fees. It was great they didn't add a credit check until after it went through. Not great I had to only speak to one person and that person was busy so it took too long for simple questions to be answered. Other money place consultants should have been able to assist with simple questions. No mediation needed as nothing that can change what occurred now. |

Hinge No support / Very few members – Unfortunately once I created the profile and paid the money, I had very little ability to do much. Every time you ask a question I.e “how do I change my profile questions or… profile photo”, you have to email through to the tech team. Then they reply by email and ask for your ID. There’s nothing at all you can do without supplying your ID every time you email them. The other issue is that they just don’t have enough single people on the site. I was mostly getting people in the 20s and 30s saying that want to catch up and I’m in my 50s. I join this dating site because the reviews said that it was for people wanting a serious relationship. I find that highly doubtful. Not being able to easily change your questions and answers and not getting much of an insight into the person except for little captions is really not okay when you’re spending this kind of money. Overall my rating is based on other sites that I’ve been on and this one. Hard to access, didn’t get to meet more than one person in my age group, very little support to do anything at all. Mostly even though my criteria is my age group, 20-30 year olds can still contact me. Strange how most men my age want 20-30 year olds and I only get this age group contact me! |

Verified Hunter Galloway Mortgage Broker Brisbane Only to borrow over $500,000. Wasn't advised this before providing all my personal info – This is only for people that need to borrow $500,000 or more. No need to contact them or disclose personal details to them, if you don't plan to borrow more than this. I… received an email and call from Jayden after they advised they couldn't assist me, and he apologized that it wasn't clearer what their guidelines of assistance were. He provided referrals for other brokers. If it had been clear on the website and reviews, I would not have provided my personal details, but they tried to help afterwards. I am however still looking for good broker for my circumstances to make it easier to buy a property with my limited time to spare. |
