of ID and or residence. We called MECCA because we are not comfortable sending over a copy of our passport simply to order some cosmetic products. The MECCA policies are also very vague on what/how they can collect personal data.

Over the phone, the representative essentially said it's up to them to request the way they want and we are not obligated to do share anything. However, they can then cancel the order.

When asking to speak to someone specialized in the Privacy team or a manager, we were denied the request. When we asked if this call was recorded (for our own protection if we want to escalate later), we were told it wasn't.

I have NEVER experienced such poor customer care online. With small margins and profit coming from the sales volume, how can you afford NOT to care for your customers is beyond me.
