Selected Review Baby Jogger City Elite Wonderful pram, pity about the toddler seat recall :( – We've had this pram for 10 months now and couldn't be happier - that is, until we heard about the toddler seat recall, as the ability to take two kids was one of our main criteria… in choosing a pram. Toddler seat aside though, this pram is fantastic. I've taken it on walks with friends who have Phil & Teds, Bugaboos, Mountain Buggys and other brands, and I've felt it out performs them all. It has a number of great features but three main things stand out - steering, ease of collapsing & setting up, and sun protection. It glides beautifully with a turning circle to die for! I can steer it one handed without any strain and despite its size rarely find it too big when shopping because of its remarkable maneuverability. The one hand fold mechanism is also sensational - I can actually get it out of the car and put it up with just one free hand while holding my baby with the other. It's not a cinch because of the weight of the pram but it can be done, whereas I don't know of any other prams that can be set up or collapsed one handed. The huge canopy is incredibly handy, in light rain I don't even bother attaching the rain cover because the hood covers so much. It's great on sunny days ducking into and out of shops - no need to constantly take a shade cloth on and off. I've seen friends struggle with parasols and moving pram hoods back and forth to avoid the sun, but the Baby Jogger hood keeps out everything but very low level sun. It also has great viewing windows and ventilation for when its fully open. It works well for sleeping in, the enormous hood makes it nice and cosy inside and the seat reclines to an almost perfectly flat position. We've also found the recline very useful for on-the-go nappy changes! Re the back support, as another reviewer mentioned this is easily fixed by purchasing the extra support from Baby Jogger - a bit of a pain but nothing huge. And as for not being able to have your child facing towards you, chances are that if your child doesn't face you from the start, they won't know any different and will be perfectly happy facing outwards. I completely disagree about some of the comments about poor storage, I can fit an entire supermarket basket of goodies into the storage basket. I imagine it's not as easy to access as those baskets on the City Select or Strider prams, but I'm the kind of person who enjoys the challenge of stacking a dishwasher so it doesn't bother me :) All in all I'd highly recommend this to someone looking for a sturdy, easy to handle pram for all terrains. It's extremely well built and packed with features. I'd only steer clear if you don't like three-wheeler prams or are looking for a pram that can fit more than one child. Everything! Great sun hood, shopping basket, turning circle, quick fold, much more compact than other prams when folded and fits easily into smaller car boots Toddler seat no longer available, recalled due to safely concerns |

Pampers Baby Dry Super soft and thin, and yet incredibly absorbent - best nappies we've tried! – Not cheap or easy to get hold of (only available from website, these are not the same as the Pampers sold in Coles) but these nappies are sensational. Really deliver on their… promise, we've never had a leak overnight, plus they're a much better fIt and better quality than Huggies. Was a little skeptical about them at first as they only have elastic sides, no elastic panel at the back like Huggies, but they really are superior - elastic bits are very soft and extremely stretchy, plus the lack of elastic at the back means a smoother fit and no blow-outs out the top, at least in our experience! They're also made of much softer material than other nappies - Huggies feel like cardboard in comparison and so much scratchier! Another benefit of the soft, thinner material is a much better fit around the legs with no red marks left behind. - excellent fit & absorbency, super soft compared with other nappies, very thin & comfortable, great leg elastic & stretchy tabs - pricier than other nappies, only available online |
