  Verified Appliances Online

They are great - until you have a problem and then they ignore you! – I purchased an Artusi oven which was well priced and delivered on time. I am a repeat customer of this business and have always been happy with their prices and delivery service.

However, in the past, I had never had a problem with the goods. The oven I purchased was defective from new and leaking gas into my kitchen. Clearly a manufacturing fault not to mention an explosion hazard. I have spent 2 months trying to get a repair, even offering to pay for a local gas fitter to fit the part if they can supply it. Its now been 3 months and I am asking for a refund. They are flat out refusing, stating they need the manufacturer to authorise the refund. This is despite the fact that the oven was purchased from applicances online directly, and it was defective on arrival. I lodged a complaint with the ACCC and I am waiting for my hearing date with QCAT to try and get a refund. You are better off supporting your local hervey norman or good guys. At least they value their customers when you have a problem. Thanks for your dodgy service and business practices appliances online! You have lost me as a customer, and hopefully this review helps others to avoid your dodgy business.

  Roborock Dyad

It was great.... until it broke after 3 months – I had been looking for a wet mop for ages and this one had great review both on here and on youtube. When I first tried it I was so impressed with how well it cleaned my hard

floors. It was used for a total of approx 8hrs and I got the fatal E5 on the screen. This appears to be a faulty vacuum motor, which judging from the other reviews on here and the Dyad facebook page this is quite common. I am glad I purchased it from a dealer and not Alibaba or ebay, as I sent it back and received a full refund. Such a shame they are not built to last as its a great concept. For the quality of build, you would expect to pay $100 or so not nearly $700. Buyers be warned, when it fails, you want to be sure you purchased it from a shop who stand by their warranty. Before I purchased it, I emailed Dyad directly to ask about spare parts. They explained they have limited spares available. In particular, they dont list a battery as a spare part. Once your battery dies, you need to replace the whole unit (assuming it lasts long enough to out live the battery) The shop that I purchased it from were great to deal with, 10/10 for their support just a shame about the product.

  Bosch Serie 8 CMG633BS1B

Only had it a week and its throwing error code E6200 as per other reviews – Purchased it for our new home along with a matching Pyro oven. The oven works ok, but the combi microwave stops and throws error E6200 after 1 minute.... As a microwave when it

works its sub par. The temperature it uses is very low and you need to double the time it would normally take to cook or heat anything.

  Gerni Super 140.3

G4 gun not fit for purpose – I have been a huge supporter of gerni for years. Unfortunately the G4 gun they supply with their units are not fit for purpose. Having gone through a dozen guns and complained to

gerni head office they dont seem to care. Today they said "why dont you buy a g5 gun they are much better quality". I said why dont you just supply the unit with a g5 gun and they said they dont think the g4's have any issues. Read the reviews for all the gerni models and you will see they clearly dont work properly.

  Brother MFC-9330CDW

Ok Printer but only lasts 12 months before the fuser erodes crinkling your paper – I have always had brother printers and have loved them. I got 12 months out of my first one then it started crinkling up the paper which is caused by the fuser eroding away. As i

had a heap of spare toner I purchased another unit (the first one was just out of warranty) and what do you know, the second unit has the same fault 12 months later. Clearly a manufacture fault with the printers but what can you do...
