Hurricane Spin Scrubber over-rated rubbish – i was looking for a device that would make cleaning the bathroom not such a break-backing chore. I did my research, which steered me away from the Spin Scrubber - 8 hours to… recharge? Each single time! Ridiculous! When I purchase an item I want one that uses as little energy as possible! And, so many complaints from dissatisfied buyers. So, I ended up getting the Karcher Steam Cleaner instead - a bit pricey, but at least it is reliable and does the job - I have resigned myself to the fact that cleaning the bathtub will always be a chore. At least I have cut back on using chemicals! |

TVSN Postage and handling, high prices – I was a long-time user of tvsn but have since deleted them from my tv and will not visit their website - the reason: i can't stand their high-pressured selling techniques (they… think every product is great but it just isn't so), products that don't perform as they say they should,exorbitant prices and the dreaded p & h. Farewell TVSN, you used to be good but no more. |

Dimplex Eco OFRC15TIB Cut your power bills in winter – I couldn't live without my dimplex in winter - it kept me warm all winter and the thermostat meant that when the power bill came i was pleasantly surprised. I could easily move… it around to different rooms but the main feature is the thermostat and timer - automatic switch on/off keeps the power usage down. Forget oil filled column radiators and other forms of radiant heat. |

The Good Guys Great service – As a dissatisfied customer of Harvey Norman (lack of communication, very late deliveries, poor communication) I opted to go to the GG's for a new fridge, vacuum cleaner and food… processor. I was amazed by their delivery and communication: all items (ordered at different times!) arrived the day after i placed the order. The delivery driver was extremely helpful. Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances Online sales are terrible – HN provides a great service - online chat (to clarify that the appliance is what you need) and interest-free repayments. However their customer service, communication, online… sales and delivery are terrible. I exchanged numerous emails and was told I would get an answer in 24 hours, it never happened. Just as my delivery never happened - I ended up cancelling the order after 2 wks. I just had to wait for the transaction to be reversed - another 2 weeks but that eventually occurred. My advice. Don't shop online with HN, there are plenty of other options - let's hope that when Amazon comes to Australia they will really sort stores like this out. In the meantime I will probably physically go into a store - probably The good guys. |
