TID Travel Insurance Direct Useless...Waste of my hard earned money !!! – I have had 2 policies in 3 years and both proved a waste of my time and more importantly my money!! TID will find any Exclusion possible to avoid paying a claim. First trip… husband (uninsured)had heart attack on holiday arrival but TID said I was not covered for anything because I was travelling with someone who had a pre existing medical condition.??? Second time my son lost bag with personal belongings etc.and they found yet another 'Exclusion' to avoid paying anything at all. Don't we get travel insurance to cover loss of baggage etc.??? Absolute rubbish..we had two genuine claims and neither event was our fault. Save your money !!!! Waste of tim and money. Exclusions for anything and everything. Bad customer service |
