  ALDI Mobile

No response to on-line query re. changing email address. I was interested in adding a couple of numbers to Aldi but renewed with Boost instead. Price is good but that's not enough incentive when the service is non-existent.

  Verified Amazon

First rate service and prices can be good – I've been using Amazon for several years and currently have a few items on subscription. I've had some 70 deliveries so far this year, ranging from $5 to $600. My experience has

been nothing but positive. Delivery is superb. You do have to watch prices. Mostly prices are better than elsewhere but not always. Free delivery from the US is great—I'm a Prime member (which comes with Prime Video—great). I haven't had a lot of contact with customer service (not needed). Recently I ordered an item that went on a Prime Day special the next day. Customer service arranged a return and purchase at the lower price. Quick and easy.

  IKEA Online Store

Bad service and uncontactable – Ordered on line but package delivered with an item missing. It is impossible to reach anybody at Ikea. There are no contact details on the website, phone number or email. They

want you to use an AI chatbot, but this is worse than useless. My recommendation: if you must shop at Ikea do it in person. Do not order on-line.

  Verified VentraIP

Great for webmail – I have a personal domain and email accounts, hosted by VentraIP. I found them very helpful with a couple of technical queries (via chat). I needed a new domain plus emails

transferred from three shortly-to-be-discontinued accounts to two new accounts. I raised e-tickets and the jobs were completed within a couple of hours.

VentraIP are much easier to deal with than my previous service—Google— and a heck of a lot cheaper.

  RACV Emergency Home Assist Plumbers

Expensive and failed to fix leak – My wife called RACV Emergency Home Assist to deal with a water leak somewhere. That's $299 for 10 minutes non-achievement. My wife suggested looking under the house where a known

dodgy plumber had installed bathroom piping three months earlier. No, he'd get dirty. In the end we called a local plumber who was prompt, cheaper and more effective.
