Origin Energy Depressed and angry – I'm so sick of this company. Really sleazy. Get you on a 'too good to be true' plan, only after you chase them up, and then, after a couple of decent-looking bills, they hit you… with an exorbitant bill (and then ongoingly, with emails threatening increases in prices over the coming months). Unfortunately, my electricity and gas are with Origin Energy. I don't even have a kitchen nor washing machine, and my only heating is an oil heater, and Origin have charged me in excess of 300 for gas?! and up to 900 for electricity. My last electricity bill was just under 400, and with no change to appliances, technologies etc. and similar usage of my oil heater, they slap me today with an almost $800 electricity bill and, get a load of this, minus any of the Government promised $300 rebate. Customer service person today advised that the rebate has yet to be implemented in Victoria. When or if it will be implemented, Origin are planning not to offer it in 3 instalments of $100 but 4 instalments of $75. It's not even their bloody money. One more thing, Origin Gas on at least two occasions charged me extra between 2-monthly bills because they felt I had not paid enough on the previous bills based on the year before usage. They're morons. 10+ years ago, I had no problem with Origin; in fact, the electricity bill was the least painful. I don't know what to do. You know what's sad, we don't take the money with us when we die. All these big companies, the CEOs etc etc. will not rest in peace. You're all ridiculous and greedy. Shame on you Origin Energy, in this case. PS: I DO NOT WANT A SOPPY REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE AS IT WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING; IN FACT, IT WILL IRRITATE MORE (PATRONISING CRAP). |

Australia Post International Express Creep – I was doing ok with Australia Post when all of a sudden I get a postie who thinks it's fun for me to travel to Woop Woop to get my package rather than leave it in my requested… 'safe place' -on my veranda (as gate locked and can leave it under my letter box -easily accessible) or, AT LEAST, drop it off at my local post office (around the corner). No, this twit (and I know it's the same person) purposefully left another item and current item at a post office in the next suburb (because convenient for them). I had to open a case for the prior package and, again, today for the current package; yet, this time, I'm told the package will not be redirected if I don't pay a redirection fee ($7). Get f. It's disgraceful. The twit on the phone told me today that the postie couldn't find a 'safe place' and the nearest post office was where the said postie ended their shift. The twit on the phone said: "Oh, we never leave packages at places if we think they're not safe places." "Oh, we never throw packages over the fence, as this is not what we do." Get a life. I'm outraged. Life is sh*t enough (and expensive). Now nothing is sacred. Buying overseas via eBay is bad enough what with the AUD being poor and GST, and now no guarantee whatsoever will get a (somewhat) seamless delivery experience. At least DAI post/Asendia think outside the box and leave at my requested 'safe place'! |

Verified Australia Post Domestic Parcel Post What the ..? – Why force someone to put one star. This is disgraceful. I work for the Government and if I did to others what has happened to others, and me I would be advised to leave (and I… am a registered allied health professional). I am outraged. Where is my CD Australia Post? It was sent on 30.1.20 from Sydney and, according to "tracking", has been sitting somewhere in Melbourne for the past what 12 days?!! Seriously, stop being apathetic, pathetic or thieves -have a conscience. If you cannot perform your required duties adequately enough, stop working and provide role to other/s. Unbelievable. I am not giving up on the CD. Ps. shameful what happened to Korean person and the sunglasses. Disgusting. Whoever stole the sunglasses -you are not going to take the item with you when you pass on.... Legal action warranted. |

Verified Jim's Diggers Made me sick, literally – Having utilised Jim's Electrical and Plumbing with relative success, I was recommended Jim's Digging via Jim’s administration for a job that required cleaning out a dirt patch… (i.e. removing the dirt) and then cementing over it. First of all, always be there when trade work is being conducted. I left the worker –[name removed]- to dig the patch, whilst I went back to work; when I came back, there was rubbish everywhere, even the coffee cup –I had bought him coffee and cake- and, most irritating of all, a down pipe was smashed (with no note of apology left to appease some of my anxiety). When I tried to call [name removed], his mobile wasn’t ringing and there was no voicemail either, so I ended up calling Jim’s main number and, after all of that, [name removed] decided to call back and the first thing that he said was that I had made a complaint about him?! “You broke my down pipe!” To be honest, I didn’t want him back, especially unsupervised. He came back to try and fix the pipe, which really should’ve been fixed by a plumber, and, guess what, it wasn’t fixed appropriately, so I let him know, and he said that he needed to buy a longer pipe (?!). He ended up coming back to fix the pipe once and for all and to finish the original job –mind you, I removed more of the dirt in the meantime to make it cleaner/more even. To summarise, the pipe is still leaking and, as for the cement job, unbelievable; corners of the dirt patch were left without cement. I don’t know whether he ran out of cement, because I had also asked him if he could cement 2 small areas of the bottom of an adjacent wall –along with hammering a loose plank from a wooden door. I ended up going to Bunnings and bought expensive containers of what looked like cement to finish the job myself. I ended up paying [name removed] the 1500k bill, as I didn’t what any more stress; what I ended up getting was worsening health (my back, shoulder? has been hurting significantly from the bending of trying to fix the job (and I’m a tough cookie). Now I have tradesmen from other companies tell me about the poor quality cement job; in fact, one tradesperson today advised me that the cement laid by [name removed] was incorrect (it needed to be higher near the wall and slightly lower towards the pavement so that any water does not seep through the house wall -that’s why the cement near the wall is still wet?! I cried, literally, and I'm still struggling. |
