Medescan Touchless RC008 Does the job (more or less) – Overall a decent thermometer - easy-to-read screen, and the colour indicators linked with temperatures provides a quick visual of where things are. Relatively straightforward to… turn off the volume (which is really loud). It can take a little while to identify the correct area of the temple to scan (as it's quite specific - right side of the head, certain distance etc. etc.), and you need to take the temperature three times and then use the highest. I find it sometimes isn't that responsive between taking each temperature measurement (can't do it in rapid succession - need to allow at least a few seconds between each reading, which can be frustrating when you have an irritable child), so I sometimes end up trying more than three times before settling on temperature. All in all, a useful device, easy to use, but not sure whether I'd buy another one. |

Verified My Baby Store Absolutely and utterly appalling – In all my years of internet shopping, never have I had such a frustrating experience as this. I purchased a number of items for my infant daughter on the 22nd March. To date, I… still have not received anything except pithy platitudes and promises of items being dispatched imminently (as well as excuses about mythical warehouse issues). I've raised a dispute with my credit card company tonight, as I'm sick of waiting - it's now been a good six weeks and not a dicky bird. The fact that emails often bounce back is not reassuring, either, as is the fact there's no phone number. As others have said, spare yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere - the prices are appealing, but the rest will induce extreme frustration. This place is an utter shambles (and has questionable legitimacy at best). |
