Fantastic dishwasher and great value – This is our second Miele dishwasher (the last one we left behind in our apartment when we moved out). The Miele does a great job with no fuss - we just pack the dishes in and

they come out clean and dry (mostly). The top cutlery tray is very useful and leaves even more room down below. The "Sensor" mode gives a good result and means you don't have to make any other choices.

We had a Westinghouse dishwasher for a while and it was absolutely hopeless - didn't actually wash or dry very well and seemed to hold far less dishes.

This is the base model but with Miele gear even the base stuff seems to do everything you really need and at an affordable price.

Absolutely and unbelievably frustrating – I am rarely at a loss for words but the way that Telstra operate and communicate with customers is so diabolical that no company without a stragglehold on the infrastructure would

hold onto market share with their approach.

We have had regular issues with drop outs, faulty modems and slow speeds for about five months however after the last visit from the technician we were advised that it needed a Rim Tech to perform some more trouble shooting. He said that he would make the request and it could take up to a month. After he left we found the internet, which had worked but was flaky, was now turned off. Quick call to Testra "can we get the tech to undo what just happened?" "sorry sir we understand but its impossible to contact him". We run a home business and internet is vital to us but this doesn't seem to matter. Many hours on the phone later and pushing up through layers of complaints, it is escalated to Level 5 which seems to be their too hard basket. "We can't give you any time frame for when it might be fixed because we don't want to give you false hopes". "You can however move to a post or pre-paid mobile broadband plan" OMG we use about 100GB of data a month! Do you have any idea of the cost of that on a mobile plan. We just want what our plan with Telstra provides. So someone has disconnected our service, no-one will tell us what actually happened, no-one will give any time frame about when it might be fixed and the only option is to commit to paying probably 3 x what we currently pay and that is for a device which doesn't give coverage around the house. I can't see the point in trying to go with another provider as Telstra own the infrastructure they have somehow disconnected us from.

Why can't they just communicate with their customers instead of saying "yes sir I understand" then leaving us in the lurch. I now fully understand the sentiments behind Kevin Wilson's famous song about telecommunications company service "your supposed to help but you make it ..... hard"

Great Print Quality and Features but let down by everything else – We bought this unit for the duplex scanning and printing functionality as well as for the high quality of the colour printing and in this respect it is a great machine. However

it is the most frustrating printer we have ever owned.

The manual appears to be in English but may as well be in Swahili for all the sense it makes. It is absolutely no use to the average user.

Right from day one we have had toner cartridges start bleeding colour onto the pages when still partly full so have had numerous replacements (but all wasting our time and paper). I have to keep re-installing the software, wireless connection etc as it frequently loses or changes settings - and as we print from four computers I have to do it for all four. The cost of the OEM toner cartridges is truly appalling. I knew the running costs for these were quite high but the cost for this is not pleasant.

Due to the continued and unresolved cartridge issues from day one, we have requested Samsung replace the machine. We are not holding our breath as Samsung's customer service phone number seems to be a black hole and they don't seem to mind wasting our time holding on for them to answer.

Good cooktop but Meile service levels well below par – First I will give an overall review of the cooktop then explain the three stars. We installed this about 7 months ago and it worked fine at first. Heated up quickly with excellent

temperature control. Miele also offered a cooking demonstration/class to help customers new to induction to understand how to use it effectively.

The three element configuration is OK although it doesn't always work out as well as we hoped especially when we have a large frypan in use and we do struggle to get the pans we want to use to fit on. The large zone also didn't work as well as we expected - we thought that you could put smaller pans on this however our experience is that they don't heat up very effectively. Overall though, we would have been satisfied with our choice of cooktop if the thing has kept working properly and Miele had been able to provide reasonable service levels.

The initial problem was one of the elements would randomly switch off and the problem got worse to the point that the large element would nearly always turn off when heating up and the others would also frequently fault. The cooktop would trip out on an error code F31. It was usable but only just and very frustrating. OK, we know that sometimes appliances have faults so we called Miele expecting a high service level from a top end manufacturer - first available booking was in three weeks. I know WA stands for Wait Awhile but that is taking it too far. The serviceman turned up and he was very friendly and good, also checked our dishwasher and washing machine for fault codes and made some adjustments. His verdict was that our installers had not tightened the electrical connections to the elements properly so he fixed this, checked everything and left. That night the fault was still there so phoned Miele again and are now having to wait nearly another two weeks to see someone. They apologised for the delay and said they were planning to have more service people but that doesn't help us. A high level appliance needs to have much better service levels. When a service call fails to resolve the fault, the customer should be the highest priority for another service call!

If our Miele washing machine broke down, would we have to wash clothes by hand for three weeks? Come on Miele, this isn't good enough. Heats up quickly, easy to clean, excellent temperature control Broke down after a few months and very long wait time to get a service call

Works well, easy to use, no fuss, no frills – We had considered the F&P dishdrawer but after reading hundreds of reviews about the appalling reliability and customer service we looked elsewhere. There is no hiding from the

internet F&P.

We have been 200% impressed with our Meile washing machine so were happy to be able to buy the bottom of the range Meile dishwasher for well under $1,000. I really can't see the value in paying thousands more for the extra features on the top of the range models.

Basically the Meile just washes dishes very efficiently, very well and very quietly. We are often amazed at how it manages to clean every dish even when they are cramped in and not that well stacked. On one occasion, the detergent tablet stuck in the dispenser and wasn't dissolved at all and the dishes still came out spotless - how does that work?

Plastics do not dry particularly well even on the 60C cycle but that would be the only (small) criticism.

We have had this for about 5 months now.

Highly recommended that you get such awesome quality for a realistic cost. Quiet, functional and just works very very well A bit hard to work out what to do with the salt and whether you actually needed it
